We've learned that Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 are being collected in a Master Chief-focused HD remaster coming from Microsoft. The game's developer is unknown at this point, but considering that Saber Interactive handled Combat Evolved Anniversary and is also working on an unannounced Xbox One project, the team is a likely suspect. Also unclear are plans for digital distribution, resolution and frame-rate (Microsoft bragged that that the next Halo will run at a "blistering" 60fps), piecemeal releases, or if the games will surface on other platforms as well (PC, anyone?).

No real information or imagery yet, it's just this "leaked" information. That big at the end of "other platforms (PC, anyone?)" is laughable though. This is going to be XBONE and only XBONE.

the thing is Halo 3: ODST for me was the best , people did not liked it because :
a. you where not master chief
b. it was a stealth game
c. you could not gun and run
d. multilayer derps skipped it , Halo 3 MP was DISC 2
e. it sold less
collective derp thinking and producing product awareness and fake needs by fake hype that costs 200MLN dolars , those sell games today , not gameplay and uniqueness ...
same with Halo: Reach , people rage quit this game for only one thing... they though this was Master Chief Origin story , how he go onto that ship ... but nope it was Cortana origins
both games where better then its original , but derps will be derps with its collective hive mind thinking ... its like COD people or Fifa people or NFS people

oh and forgot to add , so now M$ is doing the same thing like Sony did with its HD version of old games that still have fan support ... so they can be milked for MORE MONEY
the only thing is , will Sony destroy Microsoft the same way , they destroyed Sega Dreamcast ... secondary licensing fees based on medium

Got this. Started playing the first Halo game last night. It's not bad considering it was an original Xbox game. The models and environments are poor but the effects and explosions have obviously been updated. The gameplay is still great and sending the Covenant flying through the air after tagging them with their own plasma grenades never gets old! Just took me a while to get used to not being able to look down the sights of any gun!

I'm still holding out some, very faint and very naive, hope that the collection will come to PC at some point, I had a blast with Halo and Halo 2 but I've not played any of the others because the control system not really being all that enticing :\
