There's no way that's the PS4 version, it looks terrible - even in comparison to the E3-2013 release, which was confirmed to be PS4. That's either the PS3 one or the game has had an even larger visual downgrade than originally feared.
Those GIFs are significantly better and just further goes to show that the video isn't from the same source. Those GIFs look great, the video looks appalling.

it's obvious from the button prompts. L1 and R1 look like the ones on the PS4 controller. the ps3 version probably won't even have that kind of draw distance.
i'm glad i cancelled my preorder.

It's no news that the game has many visual inconsistencies, which is why 1 trailer looks great while another looks like shit, etc....
And yeah I agree with Ishkur, the video quality sucks on that Youtube video, it's downscaled to 720p too...

It's not the downscaling that's the problem in that video.. it's everything. Textures, aliasing, lighting quality and vaseline filter crap.

Valid point, some downscaling, maybe some added sharpening and you got a crisp Watch Dogs gif.

i hope you guys are trolling and not serious about the yt video on the previous page.
i am not trying to defend the game, but that video is absolutely horribly encoded, there are artifacts all around the place and it obviously cannot be used as a measure of the game´s actual look in any way.
now these webms and gifs are more like it.

I agree with The_Zeel. The video has encoding artifact and encoding vaseline. The game itself looks crisper on these PS4 screenshots, which proves this.

Ironic isn't it. I am sure that there will be some players who see the video and cancel their pre-order.
Those people are put off by shitty poor quality videos, while Ubisoft does it's damnedest to take down any videos that people make - even if they SHOWCASE the game and look much nicer.

i didn't cancel because of the vid, i cancelled after they announced the 900p bullshit. there was a huge difference between pre and post-patch AC4@1080.
i will get the game, but not for full price.
