Use a warm compress 3-4 times a day. Just soak a towel or flannel in warm water and hold it to your eye for 10 minutes, do this a few times a day and it brings the sty to the surface much faster.

Happens to me every once in a while, not sure what causes it, dirty hands and wiping the eye?

Either way, I usually just leave it be and it goes away after a day or two.

Pretty much. It started to itch on Saturday, but I kept rubbing it with my hands like that idiot and rubbed some more on Sunday. Should have not done that, should have not done that.

I can barely close my eye, it just hurts so fucking much if I move my eye at all or my lid

I'm an habitual eye-rubber, so I've had my fair share of styes in the past - just keep up with the warm compresses and that will help enormously, not just bringing the sty out, but also with the itching.

At what point did you know, you had to go to your eye doctor?

You have to drain it, do warm compresses like Sabin said, 4 times a day, and try to drain it (gently). If nothing comes out in a couple of days go see a doctor (or if it doesn't get better after draining).

Do warm compresses with tea bags. Sounds ridiculous, but works a lot better than just a warm compress. A Lipton bag will do just fine.

That's what I have been using Lipton Tea bags.

It's not that bad right now, what sucks about it's on the lid not in front but inside close to the eye, so everytime I move my eye it hurts.

Anyway, it's getting better. Few more days and it should go away,,well maybeee Razz

Also, I forgot to say but usually keeping your eyelids clean may prevent those things. Like wash them properly when you wake up, and before going to sleep.
