Oh shit, look at all these numbers and these big words. My opinion must be wrong then and has no right to exist!
FF7 was include in top 100 games of all time that had impact on game industry as whole. That does not stop some people disliking it or shitting on it or stating their opinion.
But hey, look at all these words someone else said.

FF7 was magic. The music and atmosphere, the characters and their circumstances. It was a game well before its time. I wouldn't ever be able to pick a #1 favourite game, but if I had to, FF7 would be one of the ones I'd be deciding with.
There was just so much to it in every regard. It hurts my brain that we'll never see anything like it again..
Actually, I think it was the game that was release right in time There is a reason why it go so popular so fast and was appealing even to people who don't usually play such games. I recall friend of mine, whose 99,999% of gameplay time were shooters and fighting games, played it and liked. That was a bit of shocker to me back then, haha.
Well, apparently my ePSX folder has vanished, so my perfectly configured FF8 is gone. Would getting the Steam version and the Roses and Wine mod be easier and better?

Yeah, it's really easy (RaW is a simple installer though you'll need the updated .dll too, available from Qhimm like RaW) and you won't have any issues to deal with *except* the horrible "B1, B2, B3, B4" style button prompts, as opposed to 360 or PS3 icons. Not a problem if you're playing on the keyboard, but you'll have to remember your layout if you're playing with a controller. Oh and two more things;
1. Get one of the FMV packs too, the stock FMVs are upsampled poorly and are very blurry.

The game, first released in Japan in 1990, has been optimised for PC gaming, the publisher said, with "new and improved" 3D visuals and story sequences. It includes Steam Trading Cards and Achievements and a new design for the Job Mastery Cards. There's also quicker browsing through the monster bestiary.
Never got to finish FF8, it's where my love of the series started to drop off. I'm fan of the original (yes, FF1), although my favorite is definitely FF4 (FF2a) for its raw simplicity and elegance (not to mention the original release's difficulty)...although that's with keeping in mind its time period, which had lots of excellent RPG's and it simply did it best. FF6 (FF3a) is equally as good "on the whole," but really I liked the characters more than the combat system. Similar deal with FF7...FF7 just tried so many new things, looking at it after playing FF6, it was just amazing at the time and set the standard.
FF8 and onward, however, and this is IMHO, the combat system got changed too much every game, things got unnecessarily complex, and the games started getting really cliche. It reminds me a bit of Assassin's Creed in that respect...I couldn't even finish AC3 and AC4 had me bored in no time. Too much steering from the core of the series. I did like FF9's "fan love-letter" vibe but it was just too Asian for me...to be honest I can't even stand JRPGs anymore, or at least anything past the early half of the PSX. Maybe I'll give VIII another try, though.
If they can bother porting iOS versions to PC,I don't find any resource reasons why not bother porting FFIX later on. of course, IV up to VII are much more likely.
FFX and up for PC seems to be the less likehood for the time being.

Looks just like an upscaled iOS version, so that's not too bad. Hopefully they do FFIV as well \o/
Wasn't the iOS version of FFIV much uglier than the PSP release? :<
If you're comparing the two 3D remakes, no, the iOS version was running at a much higher resolution and it was smoother too*. Compared to the glorious Complete Collection 2D redraw? Yeah... the 3D was definitely not as good (IMO)
NDS version at least, as the PSP didn't get the 3D remake unlike FFIII.

i wonder why they dont rerender the backgrounds, technical difficulties, costs, lazyness or what?
so tired of square enix releasing crap shit like this, at least we can thank them for realizing they arent up for doing any serious remakes at this time

Yes, I meant the 2D redraw. This looks like shit in 3D, I won't even bother pirating it. It's plain fucking ugly. Typical Square Enix shit - no idea what people what.
The desktop version of the Pocketstation game "Chocobo World", you use it to play a minigame that raises a baby chocobo who can help you inside FF8. You get rare items and two new Guardian Forces too
Interesting, I must have missed it before as I thought it was added by the patch.
Going by the discussion in that Steam forum topic some new "boosters" were also added, mostly various cheats but one also allows you to skip forward during cutscenes.
This mean six will Most likely come soon to,and I want the Android Port

The tone of the story of both FFV and FFVI can perfectly be described as polar opposites. My friend got the shock of his life when he played FFVI expecting something whimsical and goofy like FFV
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
