Left side uncut, right side cut. Enjoy

So basically, the way of dealing with the past is to just pretend it never happened?

How an ART picture of some soldier is offensive? The photos of Hitler - ok, I get it, but how a random picture of soldier above some buildings is offensive Confused

since games are not declared als cultural stuff like movies its forbidden to use swastikas and any ähm dunny the english word volksverhetzende symbolism or reference to the nsdap. its kinda a joke nowadays, but its still a law in germany that those symbols are forbidden even though they are used since thousands of years in other cultures for good things

Yeah, thats the point. I can understand that our past wasnt the best, but putting the stuff in a grave and pretend its not there is silly. It cant be undone no matter what, cutting a game doesnt change that and im sure it wouldnt make ppl a Nazi if its uncut or change their perpective.

This goes for Hitler Pictures, Nazis killing and Swastika Symbols.

Its not like you playing a simulator where you gas Jews or something like that (which i would cut for sure).

for Germany WW2 never happened ... because they LOST it
thats why they remove any mention about this Laughing

but to be truthful, its mostly because Germany was rebuild after the was on Zionist money ,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allied_plans_for_German_industry_after_World_War_II
till 1951 Germany was a Slave to US ... the join to the European Coal and Steel Community for Germany was a blessing , no more USA controlling them... they want to forget they where slaves , forget the past by burning it ... then learning from mistakes [or are they , when i see the EU and who is really controlling it .. its scary ]

and you know whats funny ,totalitarian power hungry nations are always against others that have more wealth ...so they make them theirs enemies to steal from them, to get even richer...back when WW2 Germany existed, it was against Jews ... now in 2014 USA is against Muslims/Arabs in general grinhurt

but hey we are speaking about ... games here ... back to the topic ...

If german goverment would do allow usage of that symbolics, no matter if games, personal usage, public mediums, etc., biggest shitstorm would start. All rest of the world says, look they are back, RUN!

nope, there is different reasoning behind this.

in german schools ww2 and nazi germany´s crimes are a very important part of the curriculum , there are swastikas in german school books and in educational tv programmes with 0 censorship.
movies and tv shows are also allowed to show a swastika as long as it is in a clearly negative, antagonistic context.

now with games its different, games are seen purely as an entertainment medium and hence all this stuff is censored so that people dont associate nazi germany with fun, it doesnt even matter that nazis are the bad guys in these games.

i am against censorship and really hate this but eh, what can you do.

This game is exclusive single-player, but we’ve built in lots of replay value,” he said. “Most notably is that the player makes a choice early on the outcome of which opens up an alternate time line which changes the vibe of the story. It’s recommended to do a second play through and see what would have happened if you chose differently.

“I don’t want to give any spoilers, but it changes the vibe of the story to a degree and alters the gameplay somewhat. We think of it as an alternate ending, but instead of it just affecting the final cinematic, it affects the tone of the whole game a little bit.”

Matthies went on to say if players “collect everything and explore everywhere,” the core game will last around the 20 hours mark.

“I think a single playthrough could end up close to 20 hours,” he said. “But there’s also lots of incentive to make a second play through, especially to explore the alternate time line.
