Fucking hell, it's like gametrailers. Only even more entitled little shits.
"Maybe this is an industry standard I'm not aware of, but to me "gameplay footage" means this is what the game looks like while you play it. Not cutscenes, not replays from different camera angles, not AI races, but while you're engaged in the act of playing this game...here's how it looks. It seems misleading to say this is gameplay footage...for AI races and from a freely movable camera."
I think I got AIDS from that post Change camera to outer perspective. Use right thumbstick or mouse to rotate camera -> "THAT IS NOT GAMEPLAY ANYMORE! NOBODY RACES LIKE THAT!"
Why do they even bother giving lara croft a face and tits? All we see are her butt and back! The rest isn't gameplay anyway.
It is somewhat true, though. That's how Sony sold GT5 as having good graphics. They used the photomode to fake gaming photos and videos.
But see, there is no photo mode in pCars, where suddenly more details appear, tesellation gets activated, a higher resolution is used for everything or higher shadowmaps are used. The graphics always look like the way they are in the game. You can pull your car on the side of the road and switch to the outer camers and just spin it around.
You can also do the same in replays and you can, if you are on a gamepad press L1+L2+R1+R2(LB+LT+RB+RT) to unattach the cam from the car and float around.
Seeing how it already warm up my rig (4770K @4.4GHz+GTX780 @1GHz) too barely achieve a constant 60fps in race condition.
That's.... disheartening What res?
1080p
But don't worry, it stays on the high 55fps on the starting grid with all the derp AI all around
And the game will certainly earn some optimizations on the late stage of development.

Have you got the time to share your in-game graphic settings. I cannot get mine setup to loom like the screen shots I always see. My system spec is not quiet up to yours but it will be interesting to see what fps I get. 3570K and a 7970.
Grale, enable grass in the visual settings, set everything to ultra (except for reflection and shadows , which have a high impact on GPU) and select the right tracks to have better performance. After the last overhaul Cote d'azur runs like a bitch on my machine, because they added so much foliage and people to the start of the race.
Also enabling too many AI racers has a big impact on the performance on my machine.
If you want to have nice looking races, why not try the following: January 21st, 17:00, California Highway on Rain/Rain ->
If they manage to improve the vegetation/trackside elements a bit, they reach the perfect fidelity. Focusing on graphics is great and it's the best way to impress people, but I hope they don't neglect all the other important aspects.

Hey there Otto, the DualShock 4 is a fantastic controller and we’re ensuring that it not only feels great playing with it but it’s also competitive against those that prefer wheels.
Btw how realistic is this one with 'track evolution', aka rubbering the road in. I see the driver in the video above still using the dry racing line so I was wondering if tracks get rubbered in and when rain comes would you need to find another racing line for best grip?
Most games don't get wet racing right so was wondering if this one did.
