It looks like if using nvidia inspector for quality AO, disabling it in game boosts performance.
Anyone have a breakdown on the menu buttons for confirm and cancel?

What do you mean it boosts performance? My game is "locked" on 60fps - it never goes higher or lower than that.

"light sconces with a torch"
ok, how the hell do you use the torch? theres nothing about it in key bindings, and 5 minutes of pressing keys has gotten me nowhere. I know I have one picked it up at the bonfire...

go to the bonfire
press the toggle key
light torch
You need to be at a bonfire to light a torch, or near a already light torch. Also, you can use flame butterflies to light up a torch anywhere

I understand why people would hate camera motion blur but why disable object morion blur is beyond me... Very fast swing of the sword or fast movements really look better with mb.
yes. I am talking about new tb video

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Yep, but he only does a brief review about the PC port options. He said he just wants to play and enjoy the game before producing a more extensive review so that wouldn't be coming anytime soon.

What's with the camera movement speed? It is so damn fast I can't do shit properly although I set it to absolute minimum.
Guess I'll have to tweak my mouse settings via logitech software for DS2..

Actually I think I agree. DS1 was superior in mostly every way. This indeed might feel like "lets make it hard, because it sells"

Yeah, sadly I agree too with that "critique". I had no idea what the game was missing when I started playing. But... something was off indeed.
Haven't progressed too far, but even the start area isn't as memorable as the one from DS1.

I though DS1 was way harder than DS2.
DS2 beginning is a wee bit harder, but after that, it gets a lot easier

It's not about being harder or easier. But about being fair. And I am referring to the video I posted.
Also, I personally don't like the level design and the lack of attention to details. In a game named "Dark Souls" this is unforgivable, in my eyes.

Agree. Level design is way worse with no shortcuts or physically connected levels that makes sense. They try to make it tediously harder by adding more enemies etc (tho it might feel easier but we are now experienced with first DS. When I replayed ds1 it was nice and easy thanks to experience gained as it should be)
It's a good and worth playing game but it's not as memorable and actually made me want to replay Dark Souls again. Wish we had demon souls on pc. The critique video explains everything perfectly. I remember everything after playing ds1. locations, bosses, shortcuts. After playing DS2 I had trouble to remember which boss was the rat king, rat authority or the rotten.
I say. Play DS2 and ONLY THEN watch that critique video. I liked the game but instead of replaying it, I will replay DS1 soon. It even looks better and have much better animations than ds1 imo

I fully agree with what he said around 7:45, it's incredibly annoying.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
