What? Didn't From shitware say that this game's PC version has been developed FOR the PC specifically? And now they don't even have keyboard and mouse, but controller icons Laughing

If this is the case, then they are truly a hopeless cause. First the downgrade, and then something as ridiculous as this Laughing

Alright, imma start the JDownloader engine asap, will be ready for tomorrow if my connection doesn't faint as always Razz

Shame about the missing specific keyboard icons, hopefully the sensitivity won't be as fucked up as Dark Souls' vanilla was. [praising intensifies]

Pretty much clearing area by area so it's going rather slow but I'm making progress, enemies stop respawning after ~10 or so deaths (Varies a bit.) so I've nearly cleared everything up to the castle although some parts I explored are also not fully completed either due to missing items or simply because the enemies are currently too strong.


I whined about the graphics downgrade in the past. But even now with resolution+textures this game is a sight to behold compared to console version

Playing it now with VPN!

well you can always use space+f - better setting than DS1 for sure and using mouse in menus is amazingl - i will probably only change strong attack on shift+click instaed of doubleclicks and interact key to Q

That's because you're using a 770 for 1440p. Don't blame Dark Souls 2 for your error in not getting a 780 for 1440p.

I can't wait until Watch Dogs absolutely destroys your 770 at that rez.

If you're using SweetFX and have MSI Afterburner or similar tool installed, just blacklist DarkSoulsII.exe in the rivatuner module.

yeah that's true, Durante said he got solid 60 with his 770GTX on 1440p though.

Oh well it runs fine on 2x SGSAA, still looks better than blurry FXAA.

Btw are the mouths supposed to not be moving when npc's are talking?

They were moving in that initial cutscene at character creation but not in the world npc's.

Game is incredibly well optimized runs locked at 60 fps on high 1080p even on a 5 year old PC (c2d e8600, hd5870) i tried it at work just now, can't wait to get home (don't ask why we play games at work Very Happy )

The optimization is not great, true. Blame the console generation all you want, this is the future of all next gen titles. Expect subpar graphics requiring quad SLI and 8 cores for passable graphics like DS2.


At least the gameplay is good.

Sure, Watch Dogs will destroy a 770, thats why the recommended settings only mention a powerful CPU, not GPU Laughing

Are You Serious

There's no other games that look as shitty as DS. No big titles at least that people are interested in. It's just From software that sucks at this.

And yeah gameplay is good but didn't mention anything about that.
