I grabbed a key from gamespot, gave it to someone else and suddenly earlier today 4 copies appeared on my inventory...?

Just got a giftable copy of this on Steam. Came here to ask where the hell from. I never played it, but after reading the last page I guess they are just throwing them away.

Nope. I don't have Riptide. Only the original and Epidemic from god knows where.

I just found a beta code in my steam inventory, I guess because I own the original Dead Island.
Anyway, not a bad game, better than I expected, though I dont really like the crafting system.
For the first character at least it doesnt make much sense, crafting is tied to account level and by the time you reach account level 2 to make tier 2 weapons, you can equip tier 3. There are apparently no other sources for tier 2 weapons other than crafting.
By the time I can make tier 3, which I already have the ability to use, I will probably be able to equip tier 4 or 5.
