More disappointment. Was hoping to start construction on my MAME bartop but, of course, wifey and I had to pick a backwater town to move to, one that doesn't have access to a CNC machine for woodcutting. Bah.

Aye, got too old for that as well Long gone are those weekends, think I stopped having them at around 22 years old. Nope not regretting it, just got tired of it. Smile

Spent my time this weekend doing laundry, gaming, watching formula 1 and spending time with my girl. Ah yes and apply for university (tho most likely won't get in this semester).

What is your main job if I may ask, or are you lucky enough that working at the club provides enough? Smile

Gotta say most of Scandinavia feels like a backwater town, coming from my region in Belgium How far do you need to go to get it done?

No idea yet, but given the cost of the uncut panels and the inferred premium for the time on these machines, it looks more "economically viable" to buy a prefab from the UK.

If you haven't: try to find a school close by with a CNC machine. At least in Belgium they didn't mind having little side projects like that, plus usually didn't cost much since it was yet another opportunity for the students to learn some (I have no clue about the schools in Norway and how many have CNC machines tho).

See that is the hardest part, for me stuff that is so normal can be outlandish here. I used to live 10 minutes away from 3 schools, all having at least 2 CNC machines xD
