a very good game, been playing it for some time now.
the only downsides are that the framerate was hardly improved since the demo, and it can get boring at times when ure searching for the colossi or for a spot to climb onto em.
i m at the 4. colossus now and dont have any idea on how to get onto him, but this game is one of a kind.

It loads once or twice for cutscenes in the beginning of the game, otherwise it either doesn't load or it is hidden so that it doesn't seem like loading.
The world feels absolutely huge, I haven't found any unnatural barriers (invisible walls) and the geometric and texture pop-in is minimal. Framerate dips a bit when the action heats up, but it hasn't caused a gameplay problem yet.
Game is just fantastic. Only beaten the second Colossus so far, I hope someone manages to get the soundtrack and put it out there, the music is amazing.

Shadow_of_the_Colossus_USA_PS2-ECHELON
Anyone try this yet? It didn't work for me. I burned it at 2.5x with Alcohol 120% on two DVD+R's and both locked up during either the opening movie or the one right after you select a new game. If I press start to skip passed it, it also locks up. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Didn't work for me either, didn't even get to the title screen, i got the circle in the bottom right corner but thats as far as it went, just a black screen after that.

I tried burning it on my friend's DVD burner and it does work. Maybe my burner is old or needs new drivers. I just got it over a year and a half ago so it shouldn't be that bad. Maybe it's just picky. Good game so far.

am at the 7th colossus now, the first hard one in the game, i just cant figure out how to evade his electricity attacks.

i dont have any idea on where to go, its a small secluded place that doesnt give you alot of options.

finished the game a few hours ago.
the last one is very annoying till u figure out what to do exactly, but the 14th one has to be the one where i died the most. (around 10 times?)
a question for everyone who finished it, are there several endings or only one?

well i burned at x8 onto ridata and it works and loads 100% im on the 5th colossi
As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

yea, the first two bosses have one more weak spot each which you need to hit, and of course, they do more damage.
