Wtf, I'm really tired of this show, but after watching all the seasons I feel obligated to watch.
I was afraid they would do this.... end the show with only really focusing on the mother in a handful of episodes :/ Who knows though, they still might come back, there like what 14 more eps left now?

Got to admit, I've not really enjoyed this season. But the unexpected, nearly "don't think about it and you'll miss it", cliffhanger of the most recent episode led me to Google. Over there, I heard some pretty good theories about WTF is going on!

So there is a theory/rumor going around online lately....
 Spoiler: | Some seem to think that the mother is actually dead, and Ted is telling his kids the story of how they met after she had actually already passed away. Last ep when Ted got all teary eyed while talking to his wife, it is assumed he became so emotional because the mother has cancer and is dieing.... |
Interesting theory, kind of fun to play around with these and see if they actually play out, I guess we'll just have to wait and see for ourselves... there isn't many episodes left at this point anyway, right?

why they didnt do whole final season similar to what they did in Finale, hich to me felt little rushed.  As for ending - it was hinted a lot of times - so i kina expected something like this , but a lot of people will hate it

I really started disliking the show around season 5 or 6.
But stuck with it cause my wife LOVES it, she was crushed by the ending last night.
Worse than the ending of dexter and lost? yes.... I think it is lol.
Fuck this show.

Man, fuck this show. Tracy should have been the chosen one, sorry. Robin is fine and all, but Ted looked for someone like Tracy for 9 seasons only in the end we got this shitty ending. Fuck.

I stopped watching this 2 or 3 seasons ago. The show just started to suck very much. Every tumblr post is like: I'm so sad this show is over... Like srsly ppl? I was sad when Seinfeld was over, but this...

I liked the ending. Annoyed that I read/guessed about the death of their real mother - but she had silly teeth anyway. I agree with the above, it was about Ted and Robin. It was a good ending, although the last scene was a bit abrupt!
