Couldn't honestly say... I charge both devices every day as standard, but neither run that low with Steam in the background.

Every time Steam has login problems for several days, there's a wave of comments "This doesn't happen on Origin" etc over the Internet. This is obviously a DDOS attack, probably organized by EA and Microsoft. Fucking greedy cunts.

EA wants Steam's market share desperately, Microsoft doesn't like Valve because of bashing Windows 8 when it mattered most (at launch), promoting Linux-based Steam machines and generally dragging some people from the consoles due to huge sales. So what's exactly stupid here? Of course, it's easiest to throw a "hurr durr thin foil hat paranoia" response, just because you can't comprehend how much money is in that game and how fat bonuses will EA and Microsoft people be missing if they don't play dirty.

Considering all these tidbits of news posted on prev. page I'd say the answer is more simple - Steam is shifting current platforms and re-organizing infrastructure. It is simply shirking. There is no point for it growing on the spoken aspects if there is such radical changes coming this year.

all "conspiracy theories" sound stupid at first but when they turn out to be true... well not so much anymore.
it's people that go "that's fucking hilarous, you think NSA doesn't have anything better to do than spy on us" that are naive.
how do you know that some huge corporation isn't ddosing steam ?
It's not that I believe it, it's that I don't call it stupid because I don't have enough information about dirty tricks played in huge corporations. |
Just to clarify, I wasn't calling the conspiracy theory stupid (it is quite far fetched though) but the "this doesn't happen on origin" comment. |

I guess I'm just really lucky to have not experienced any of these problems over the last few days.
Still, Steam's stability has been comparatively shitty over the last few months. Hope they get their shit together a little bit before the next big sale.
