I didn't even see that initially, my bad then but I guess like you said that it is also the amount of pieces or he got really lucky and got number 1500 in a 1500 pieces puzzle of however many they made.

The Legend of Zelda Prima Guide Box Set + 2 more Zelda Books
50,000 copies of these were made.

 Spoiler:

These 6 hardcover collector editions Prima game guides are bundled in a Zelda treasure chest closed by embedded magnetic clasps.
The books have “gold” gilded pages and you also find a numbered certificate of authenticity with a two sided “gold” metal plated bookmark.
I only have a few other game guides myself but I feel these are those types of centerpiece items for Zelda fans and Game Guide Collectors.

The Box Set has over 2000 pages and contains the guides for:
Ocarina of Time 3D, Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass, The Wind Waker HD, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

The Ocarina of Time 3D guide is only available in hardcover in this Box Set and the Skyward Sword guide was revised and expanded by over 100 pages.
The Set is actually missing the newest guide for A Link Between Worlds, so it does kind of suck the chest was not made to squeeze in another guide.
---------------------------

A Link Between Worlds Guide (Hardcover)
This book has 320 pages, same high quality as the other books from the Zelda Box Set and comes with a framed lithograph artwork + serial for a mobile version.

The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia (Hardcover)
A large book with a collection of historical information on The Legend of Zelda franchise on 280 pages, including an exclusive comic by the foremost creator of the Zelda manga.

 Spoiler:

The book topped the Amazon US book charts for months. Because of this, the original print run of 250,000 was expanded to nearly 400,000.
A dedicated Collector's Edition also exists in 4000 copies with a brown leather cover with gold gilded pages.

Complete Collection Very Happy
 Spoiler:

I would recommend any of these books to Zelda fans and Game Guide Collectors out there.

What is that? A little puzzle of a big one in a box? What's the '1500' for? Is it some sort of limited thing?

A friend went to E3 last year and the people of CDR Project were giving that puzzle plus some other stuff.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Even though its greedy as fuck the reason behind it was so that you didn't have the stupid PC, Xbox, or PS logos on the box.

Rather stupid reasoning since they could easily give you a code which would let you chose which platform and processing a digital key out of that one. It's 2014, they need to come up with better excuses for their greed. (and that's some crude method thought up in 2 seconds)

DoDonPachi Saidaioujou Super Limited Edition
The game is a vertical scrolling shoot 'em up arcade released by Cave in 2013 on Xbox and is the sixth chapter in CAVE's DonPachi series.

3 version of this game exists: Standard, Limited and Super Limited Edition.
The LE and Super LE both features a Steelbook case, a CD Soundtrack and an 80 page Artbook, (SLE has stickers/overlay sheet), all packed in nicely.

The Super LE box is much bigger, upgrading the content with a double CD Soundtrack + Theme Soundtrack, stickers/sheet and a big A4 sized hardcover Artbook.
You can see the LE vs SLE box size difference here: http://s25.postimg.org/lmnyzb7rz/Limited_Edition_Super_LE.jpg

Now for some pictures and a lot this time so hopefully you like them! Wink

It’s actually a classic vertical scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game that’s popular in Japan. And being a Japanese game with girls in it you can bet an Artbook will have some fan service like i have shown.
I think this is by Japanese law or something Very Happy

Besides the pictures I took, the Artbook also has pics of space ships, info about stages and introduction text/story in Japanese.
