is there any good shots video of combat involving a city? I've only found a couple pictures, but it looks like you don't get the full city like you did in shadow magic, just like one side or something.

Whut!? This is by far my most anticipated game of 2014 and from what I see and hear I have no big issues.
Sure I see no valid reason to cut unit limit from 8 to 6 and for what its worth I would like it to be even bigger with certain skills/levels etc (just like Eador for one) but its minor. Same with the cut in races, but hey if you didnt see that coming in the age of DLC
Oh and I do think the storyline has advanced needlessly far.

Unit reduction, move to "groups" rather than individuals, the maps look underwhelming compared to shadow magic.. in shadow magic you could come at a city from any side, this looks like you just get one direction.
These were things I liked about AoW over HOMM, now they're gone, so no sale for me.

Ya I dont like the cut from 8 to 6 either, but atleast the actual amount of units is greater in AoW3 than the first 2.5. games, if that was what you meant.
I have no problems with the change to groups at all - I do wish that there was a function in place to actually make use of that, so its not only an visual thing. I would love for units to have 3 stages of health or be able to gain momentarily stats reductions due to wounds in combat.
The maps look plenty fine to me and making the sieges a bit quicker was a good move (if you saw the first multiplayer game between BBB and Arjan, you saw how long it took BBB to fumble his way to victory in that siege).
If your saying you would play HoMM6 instead of AoW3 come april, then you are missing out big time.
Great game, but seems to be too cheap - may be publishers know more then we?
Do you mean cheap as in the price? Or cheap as in cheap and nasty?
It is £29.99 in the UK which is by no means cheap! Anyway I'm really looking forward to this and will certainly buy when it is a more sensible price, or if I can get it cheaper elsewhere.
Not quite sure but there might be a pre-load (Seems the developer didn't fully understand?) and the game is a 1.7 GB download.
(The new content delivery format allows for compression.)
Looks nice, but it looks to much like Fallen enchantress. I mean it looks more like and expansion to FE than a new game.
But if i understand it correct FE borrowed a lot from the earlier AoW games...
The things i like compared to FE is the art style and that each race has unique units, this is a big plus. But the feel and mechanics of the game looks very similar.
