The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

i don't see why people can't play (and enjoy) both. They are quite different from one another.
Of course i can also see how someone favors one over the other (same reason as above) or how someone may not like either (again same reason lol).
Goddamn I love the Battlefield series. I have played (and also bought mostly^^) all the games.
But this BF4 (the beta) felt like a polished BF3. That is not good enough. They won't see my money that's for sure. And right now as I am sure there are many fuckfaces with rank 20-50 already flying in their little noob jets or sniping from the highest fucker building....thx no. Fuck them all

I am. So far I don't see any reason to stick with DX, not since the crashing was fixed. I mean, I miss my RP overlay with some extra functionality, but it's not a huge issue.
EDIT: Well one thing they need to figure out is triple buffering - no such thing under Mantle at the moment, so VSync is a no go.
