So how is the raiden mission unlocked? I played around two and a half hours and beat all other missions. I'm guessing there's some intel in the gz mission which unlocks it?

Isn't it some kind of DLC?

Got through it in just less than 180 minutes, it's overall presentation and quality keeps me in awe, and makes me sad it's so short. That being said, being someone that only is slightly involved in the whole MGS universe, I'm really excited for TPP.

Hoping there's more coming up in the future for this, whether as DLC or else, not sure.

Well Hfric seems to have played it so I was hoping for a hint, but I can understand if the reqs are uncertain. I'll go back to the game anyway so it'll unlock eventually.

edit: apparently finding all XOFs unlocks it...

Code:
The game features five side missions. Known side missions include: a daytime mission, a VIP rescue mission, and the "Déjà Vu" and "Jamais Vu" missions. The story mission features the XOF patches dropped by Skull Face as collectibles. Collecting all the patches unlocks either the "Déjà Vu" mission on PS3 and PS4 or the "Jamais Vu" mission on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

All I can say is that x360 version looks pretty decent for a last gen console game. FPS is good and no tearing.

The draw distance on the 360 is horrible, couldn't notice on the night mission but on the day one... Rocks and grass appearing out of nothing in front of you, very distracting.

Massive clipping on ps3 too but I didn't notice any frame rate issue. Seems like locked to 30 fps with the occasional slow down during cutscenes but gameplay is fine except when it creates the save (maybe that's what you meant about the first sequence)..,

I did, but I guess since GTA is more dynamic I didn't notice as much...
I think it's more noticeable in this game, since I'm always crouching or prone.

Not really. The engine clearly seems to be taking it's toll on the hardware. The cut-scenes are all rendered from in-game engine and that pretty much gave away the poor performance. Even the aiming wasn't smooth enough. It certainly doesn't feel like 30fps at all. This is coming from someone who has just completed Metal Gear Solid 4 like a few days back. Now that game was proper 30fps, higher in some areas and slightly less in others. But this isn't. Add to this misery, there are texture popping in.

I haven't completed the game yet, but I'll probably play it once I'm done with Stick of Truth and see if it gets any better.

if you have a choice, especially if it's free, why not try both?
Sony has Deja Vu, Microsoft has Jamais Vu special ops, play both. Razz

ps3/360 fps comparsion (not image quality). It's just the intro cutscene but it's in-engine so it probably translates into gameplay as well...360 runs better it seems. No Digital Foundry yet Razz

So I just played it on PS4, and obviously it's much much better than the PS3 version. Have in mind the early 2012 trailer on PC, it basically looks/plays the same.

The biggest difference for me was 60 fps vs 30fps, even cutscenes are running at a constant 60fps, and 1080p. The game is crystal clear and no vaseline anymore obviously.

These 2 features on the PS3 version would be enough to make the game look much better, but the PS4 version also have much better textures and draw distance is improved a lot (no plants appearing just like that). For me, it was kinda like comparing Tomb Raider PS3 vs PS4.

But you already saw that in the comparaison trailers.

Wondering how the XBONE version looks in motion considering it's 720p like on PS360.
