If you want to disable lame starer pack DLCs, that just muck up early game balance, do this:
Remove\backup everything from <game>\dlc folder.
This applies to yar version.

What's wrong with the starter DLC gear? It RAPIDLY becomes outdated and superseded, you barely use it for an hour or two.

I prefer to earn equipment gradually. It's more fun then getting it for free.

I remember one of them giving pretty huge armor bonus for that time of game (+15). Beats everything else that can be found on day 1.

Just finished it and while the difficulty really could have been higher, it still was a fucking great experience. Really felt like an interactive movie of South Park.
Many crazy scenes ! But the one scene were i really laughed was at the end:
Spoiler: | when your character finally speaks out of nowhere and Cartmans reaction |
9/10 !

Finished it yesterday, amazing game overall. Not an RPG though, more like a tactics game with some quick time events and an alibi inventory.
Gonna give it an 9/10 because it captured South Park perfectly and put you right into the setting.
-1 because the difficulty was so erratic, 99% of the fights were total pushovers and then every once in a while there was a totally unfair one sprinkled in. Also, stupid button mashing abortion/probing minigames.
And another heart-felt FUCK YOU to Ubisoft who are still holding the game hostage in Germany/Austria. Never gonna buy another Ubisoft game (easily said, I know, but I will keep that promise). Such a fucking shame Ubi own the license...

But why is Gore the hardest one, I had to listen to that 'global warning' presentation like a dozen times

I killed Gore kind of early on in the game, at around level 7 I think, then at level 8 Spoiler: | when he was manbearpig |
I used Jimmy for it, and killed the two riflemen superfast, as their damage was highest, was cake from there.

I really want more. I could have easily played this for 60+ hours, so long as the content was the same quality.
Ryzen 5 5600, ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II, Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 32GB 3600MHz C16, MSI RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC , Corsair RMx Series RM750x. AOC AGON AG324UX - 4K 144Hz 1ms

The only negative thing I can say about this game is that is it really not good to the keyboard.
Waaay to many things depends from constant and very fast button smashing.
Heck, I would love some sort of difficulty slider for button mashing, so I could set it to very easy, to spare my keyboard of too much damage.

Wish the fights were bigger and with more than just one companion at a time.

Finished up last night, great game. Took me a little over 13 hours because I walked around and explored + side quests as well.
Uninstalled for now, maybe one day I'll beat it again, I honestly don't plan on it though.
8.5/10 for me.

Why have such selection mechanic if you didn't plan to use it?

After reading the interview linked a few pages ago, gotta wonder what else was cut and/lor "improved" when Ubisoft imposed changes after buying the license.

Of course it's possible after this reception. But it won't be even 1/3 as good.
