Doom3 got a 9.2 from pcgamer if I'm not mistaken, and that's the mass-media gaming mag so that's pretty freakin' good. And I still dont see any valid arguments about what was wrong with doom3. Environments? Uhm.. lets see.. play the hell levels? AI? Doom was never about the AI, but aside from that fact, why would senseless zombies and spiders et al need AI? also what happened to pure, senseless fun?
And even if you say the graphics look like plastic, it's sill a step up from what we've got now (or atleast what we had then, FEAR out-does even doom's plastic-ness). Peace,

There are few FPS games that aren't linear nowadays. Even the coveted HL2 is linear. FarCry was an exception, but no-one talks about it the way they do d3 and hl2 Mad

Nah, HL2 wasnt linear it had different themes for each "stage" and it was fun and exciting just like FarCry. Doom 3 though lacked that kind of feeling Sad

i finished ss2 in coop so it takes about 6 or 7 hours !
and fear wasnt very long !
