Watched it a bit , looks great but I already knew that..now I just wait for this to come out..and yeah , that same mission during the night..it's kinda boring to see it all over again.
A borefest (confirmed in those Let's play vids) is still a borefest @ 60fps 1080p

Loved the 1st one, the 2nd one looked like a DLC but still liked it. But 3 would require something more than just fancy gfx. Like destroying building, changing city landscape, something to make you feel powerful. Even Prototype 2 was more fun that all the vids I've seen of Infamous 3.

Because I can't remember a game that looked like a borefest in multiple videos and turned out to be a breathtaking addictive can't-put-down trip in reality?
The rule of business is to show the best of the best moments to sell the game/movie/album. That's why we often discover that a movie trailer had all the fun parts and the rest was crap. In case of Infamous 3 either marketing dept are completely unprofessional and they waste tons of money on live-action ads and show the crappiest gameplay available oooor.... there's actually nothing to show except a guy running in a half-empty city with 'dat neon!' and chucking electric charges

The old InFamous games where not as good as the Prototype games imo.
prototype was a low quality snooze-fest with one of the blandest looking open world maps, and i liked infamous so much that i finished each two times.
Prototype, especially 2, while being bland and inferior in gfx, was able to translate that feeling of superpower and scale. In P2 just s couple of hours in the game you were already jumping from roof to roof and wreaking havoc and it FELT awesome, even if it looked like PS2.
Infamous doesn't have that and that's why they desperately trying to compensate with the live ad by throwing in those slogans while in fact you do have powers but they're far from 'super'.

You can't honestly mean that the first part? Yes, the world was kinda boring, but the progress you made in the game with such awesome over the top abillities really was something different. I had a blast with both games
It looks pretty good, I will be preordering this too. GZ + this in the same week, finally, some PS4 action.

You can't tell what a game will be like with that much gameplay available to you? Come on... especially if you're a seasoned gamer.
while there is a lot of gameplay, it's always the same stuff mostly played by afwul players. they only showed us 2 different power sets.. there are still tons of things they deliberately didn't show to surprise us.
so i don't get how Waargh can say that infamous doesn't have "roof to roof jumping and wreaking havoc" in the first couple of hours.
from the stuff i've seen, i can tell that i'll love this game as much as i did the first two entries.
Preordered this one...have high hopes for it. Playing arkham city right now and I guess the gameplay mechanics are somewhat similar. Hope I don't get disappointed with the game after having finished batman:ac which I really like.
I'm still trying to get a PS4... it seems I have to order one from the UK where amazon lists the ps4+infamous at 385 GBP as available on the 21st. It's a different SKU so it might actually be true too.
In austria and germany it seems impossible to get one within a month or two unless you're willing to pay a 100-150 euro premium.
I read about people having their PS4 break down and now they have to wait for months to get a replacement.
