Finished it! Did everything except all the equipment, because it seems I missed a couple, though I got all the other collectibles. The game was absolutely fantastic and I loved it from start to end and while the game did feel like it dragged on a bit towards the end, the final battle was hilarious. Thoroughly enjoyed this game ^_^

There are two kinds of people I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

So how many hours does it take to finish the game? I read 20 but that's not that long for an RPG Sad

People have been saying 12 but I just don't know how, not when they're claiming full completion too. I've put 19hrs+ into this so far and just got to the final area, so if people are reckoning 12 hours they're either thrashing through it at warp speed or perhaps reading the broken/inaccurate time listed on the save in-game.

I have 12 according to Steam, which has its few quirks too, but I actually counted it and it really took me 12, don't know what more can I say. Razz

Then again, I have been called a "completionist speedrunner" for some reason Laughing ACIV took me around 34 hours to complete 100% IIRC, I really don't know why I get through the games so fast, especially when I'm collecting everything and completing every sidequest.

God I feel like a complet noob.

The fight with the alien boss, which I had a lot of problems getting past it, well I wasnt wearing any armor, I was still in pijamas.

But when I put my KKK armor, woot! steamrolled it!

Also, playing this game high is REALLY funny, but trying to time the attack and defense is a little bit harder hahahaha

I missed seven of the collectables. I didn't bother with all the equipment as that would just mean buying most of it. Ended with 98 friends I think but I don't know how many there are total. I think I missed one bag in mackey's shed but I'm sure there's nothing of interest in it.

Overall, damn good game. Just like playing the TV show to me.

I was giving them the benefit of the doubt and I wanted to support Obsidian.
But this fucking stunt of delaying the fixed Steam version in order to please Sony and Microsoft will not fly with me.
I'll just support Obsidian directly and back their next Kickstarter by the amount I didn't give to Ubisoft now in addition to the regular pledge amount...

Weirdly enough, GMG refunded me even though I already have the game in my Steam account. Will they contact Steam and revoke my key or did I just get a game for free?

Why is this Ubi's fault? They must remove the scenes because German authorities treat videogames like Barbie dolls. Ubisoft should have taken this to court and claim this particular videogame as Art (Law Par.86,Sub 03).

Damn, just found out there are 120 friends. I'll have to fire it up next week and see if I can find the rest of those and the seven chinpokomon I missed.

I hope they do a sequel and it features the crab people more than this one did. That bongo beating dude did say they were going to take over humanity or something like that. haha.

Can you go back to mission areas after beating the game? I did gather the hobo and chinpokemon in the alien spaceship but if you miss that is there a way to reach those locations again?
(Maybe there is, the ship is being re-designed as a Taco bell restaurant so it seems reasonable to be able to enter it again, same goes for the school area.)

Ubisofts messed up by shipping the wrong copies, resulting in a recall because they sent the uncensored version to German retailers.
NOW Ubisoft is intentionally delaying the release of the Steam version in order to have a simultaneous release of the console and PC versions in Germany. If you don't see the problem with THAT policy and how it royally fucks German PC gamers (just so Sony and Microsoft don't lose even more console version sales), I cannot help you.

Ubisoft sent the censored copies to Germany but left the Nazi symbols as they were not aware that this particular German law exempts videogames of Art in general. Get your facts right.

That's like a bug or something if you accept Satan and get all the critters as friends than you should reject Jesus and remove him from facebook, you can't accept Satan as the one Lord and be friends with Jesus at the same time, watch the Damien episode when Jesus and Satan box it out.

My mistake then. I thought the German version was censored for the anal probing scene and the symbols.

Nope. German version was censored for Swastikas only but Ubisoft shipped the US version to German retailers instead.

Yup, bug. Just quit and reload, eventually you'll get the option to skip or it will just automagically skip on its own.
