SOMA: Item #2656 - "Vivarium"
The machine has the appearance of a heavily modified monitor fixed to a massive nest of cables and controls. Machinist Peter Strasky found the contraption during a salvage mission *CORRUPT DATA* the screen rolled and flickered, but it shut down as it was pulled out from the container.
None of the crew stepped forward to take credit, but the construction suggests *CORRUPT DATA* since Thabo is unavailable for questioning, the machine's origin remains a mystery.
Considering the lack of information and the general unease it has started to cause, the machine will be disassembled.
*CORRUPT DATA* screen lit up and showed distorted schematics. After trying different switches and keys, the oblique levers were found to be torsion attenuation controls which could stabilize the pict *CORRUPT DATA* revealing a complex set of instructions. The machine is now under quarantine.

Had an hour on it before work and didn't want to turn it off lol. It felt like Outlast which is not a bad thing. Didn't actually encounter any enemies in the first hour but I'm intrigued by the story and quite like the physics based object interactions. Reminded me of Skyrim how you can pick up items and fling them around. Visuals are good in a decent indie style kinda way and I like the environment, which are very Dead Space/Bioshock-esque. A flashlight would be nice so I'm hoping for one at some point as it is naturally quite a dark game. Can't say much more except I will be playing this again for sure when I get home from work. By then I'm sure plenty of people will have reached the end lol.
Spoiler:
I like the Omnitool and upgrade interactions. Cool stuff.
Im really enjoying this game. I heard it was around 11 hours to complete. Id say Im about halfway through. Its so fucking weird and awesome at the same time! Although its also quite linear there are areas that are quite expansive a unrestricted to a degree. Anyone else playing or completed it yet?
