Damn, I refuse to burn multiple CD games, if it can't be converted then not worth my time. |
well you can convert it but you also have to burn the play disc ,so then you would have dvd disc to install & and CD play disc to bypass the disc check. or use sfcure to pass disc check.

This game runs only for the first time when using SFCure + physically unplugged drives method. Every following attempt to run this game again results in neverending checking disc. Just a manual shut down of my rig is the only way out of this shit.

The game doesn't start. I don't think it's a protection issue, because it doesn't even start the StarForce media checker.
Just exits instantaneously.
A64 Venice, 2G ram, 7800gtx sli.
Any ideas?

I've made some progress. But still need help.
The launcher just refuses to start.
So I found a file in the install dir called coldwar.ex
I renamed that to .exe. This starts protection, but it fails the cd check, even with SFCure. I have bet on soldier working fine, and I think im doing everything just right. But it still fails. It quickly does the progress bar and tells me to put the cd in another drive.
Any ideas?

Anyone tried the exe from the BETA?? We never know and since what happened with Brothers in Arms, it worth the shot

work great for me cd2 mounted in deamon tool and using the sfcure driver and starfoce nightmare (node disabled,cd disabled) i have started the game about 5 time and it work all the time... the only thing is the SF check never asked me the cd-key !!!

I use alcohol 120 1.9.5.3105 but when I want to write image of CD2 I can't change anything . Only I can find datatype in write options & it has only customize profile .
How I must select securom NEW profile?

Huuum, lot of discussions about how to run the game but no feedbacks about the game...
Someone wants to do a mini-review on this one ? (cuz i have some doubts since i tried the demo; the character animations were lame)

ok, nothing works for me - neither the burn-at-4x-speed method nor the Alcohol+sfcure+sfn one. some other ideas, perhaps?

It has just been released (0day) and I can finally run Cold War!!! Once again these guys saved my day.
