That's the only reason why I still keep it installed  , there's always that feeble hope flying around..but after reading that there are boss battles and even mandatory pressabutton chasing sequences I'm facing a huge existential crisis. The heist mission was already a painful experience, though I ain't givin' up just yet.
I'll try to be strong and finish it for the lols. I mean, I finished Conviction and DARK, I'm prepared for everything...or maybe not! |

Hey, Dark wasn't bad at all, it just oozed low production values
Also geralt made it more awesome
Anyways i just finished the house of blossoms mission but i am not sure if the levels will remain this linear all the way through.

has anyone tested the game with and without the patch ? most says game with the patch has terrible fps drop

Yeah, it had neat ideas, but I found the execution too lazy and the formulaic level design too hit and miss to enjoy it. A missed opportunity in my opinion . With a different (better) engine and more budget it could've been a pleasant surprise. |

Finally finished this and uninstalled it 
The Asylum level was great, the rest is average at best.
No player progression, spending loads of time searching everywhere and never really getting anything for your trouble, lack of stealth ways to take out enemies, can't put out some light sources (like lanterns)...
I liked the atmosphere of the game, that was about it.

ugh stuck in chapter 2 at the thief takers generals office. cant get up the ledge where the air duct is something keeps pushing me off.. Know I saw someone post about this earlier but cant seem to find the post now.. anyone know how to fix this?
edit: Nvm fixed it by holding sprint

I didn't even bother with the side missions as they seem very bland. A few of the chapters were good, like the Asylum and Barons Mansion, but other than that, the game was mediocre.
One of the pet peeves is the fact that you couldn't purchase all the tools right away, such as the razor (for paintings) and wire cutters (for traps). Personally I thought a "Master Thief" would already have these in his possession. It makes going back and redoing missions as a pain in the ass. Who wants to redo a chapter or mission to get a painting for Garrets collection, when you should have the tools to get them the first time around.

I've played a little. Finished first chapter and a side mission for the engineer. The awesome button is pissing me of. In the tutorial level I spend 10 minutes trying to get further because it couldn't respond to the point I had to climb on. And try to do this swift strife move while being close to a climbable object. Yep, I definitely wanted to climb that so all the guards could see me.
Overall it's okayish so far.

Someone needs to make a mod of the game, where missions take place in the hub areas.
That would solve some of the games problems, but still,
this weird mix of linear and hub components is decent enough considering its made for gamepads.

I took 11 hours to beat the game. Got really boring, so rushed last 3 chapters.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

i got a popup when i installed 3dm release but because i got horrible performance in that i reinstalled reloaded and i didnt get any popup and i did block the exe in firewall . i get a popup that servers not available and there is no sanitarium level.

The base RLD version doesn't have the DLC with it, you need to get their update.

That's strange then, check the steam_api.ini file and see if the DLC appids are written down.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something obvious then, but everything should be working fine. I've not heard anyone else mentioning the missing DLCs as long as they're using the updated files and fix.

dlc is activated, bank mission is pressent and there were lots of stuff in the chest. will delete them asap, just wanted the mission
