GGRRRRRR!¬

On that note, why don't you sell your air conditioner, plumbing, fridge, stove, and car? You aren't required to be a technician to own hardware. Leave off the 'retards' and just go enjoy the game.

You can DVD clone this with no need of this anti-blaxx shit. Simply burn it with RMPS like someone mentioned above but do NOT activate RMPS emulation within alcohol. That's it - a working clone.

Hey all

Heres how I did it

-Installed game
-Installed Antiblax 1.17
-Took the Antiblaxx cracked patch in Fear folder (Any of the 2 will work...dont know why there is 2 folders...anyways and replaced the .exe in installed folder of Antiblax.
-Run Antiblax....fill up the settings window whether you have Alco or Deamon and mount Fear image into Antiblaxx itself.
-Right click on Antiblax tray icon and go to run....Fear..

Works perfectly here but dont forget to fill up the settings properly

Heres what it should look like

[IMG]http://img50

P.S Ypou dont need to mount the image with your virtual drive, just run it trough Antiblaxx

I got Windows Xp SP2
Catalyst 5.10

Hope this work for you guys!!...Smile

Well, I tried it for a few hours now, too and think its a good game. But its not close to what I would call "game of the year" or something like that. Its a straight-forward-shooter with positive and negative points in my opinion:
+ excellent AI
+ adrenaline-pumping firefights
+ blood and gore
+ good weapons
- boring environments, repetitive and linear level design (so far... sometimes I think I can no longer bear even more crates and desks and tubes in boring rooms in any 3D shooter)
- engine with bad performance: in earlier times, when "Monolith" used their "Lithtech engine" in games like "No one lives forever " etc it was, compared to the other 3D engines (Quake 3/Unreal 2), by far the worst and slowest. this has not really changed.... compared with HL2, Riddick, FarCry and Doom3 this is in my opinion a weak performance for a "new-technology" game. on my machine (AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 6800GT, 1 gb ram) its the slowest of all the mentioned games (and it does not look better than the others, a bit "sterile" due to over-use of shaders).

for me the image runs fine with SR7Stop and Win2000. But it did not work with AntiBlaxx. Seems as if we start a new blacklisting ride when all these programs get detected in the next versions of Securom and Safedisk....

by the way: getting messed up with these "Hiding Virtual Drives" programs may be dangerous. I fucked up my system by trying to use SR7stop and AntiBlaxx at the same time - and suddenly I could no longer use daemon tools at all. I could not unmount the image, not mount a new one, I could not even uninstall or install daemon tools. restart, registry work...no success... I had to restore my OS partition with an image... so be careful when messing around with these programs Wink

Sorted no more lag and no more crashes after turning of WinB and object Dock...Me just primate D'oh brain...plain stupid should have thought of that.

I would just say RAM...get at least 1 gig minimum or 1.5-2 would be to recomend, will help you also for other games. Thats at least my experience.
Running all set to High (Computer and Graphics) tried Maximum but was just a tad to choppy.
P4 3Ghz
2 Gig Ram
NV 6800 U
SB 2
2 Raptors in Raid
Latest drivers etc etc.
Runs super smoth now after Monkey Brain (ME) switched off Windows Blinds.

Just had some NPCs walk through walls to flank me Sad I was pretty sure there was a wall where they were walking, but thought maybe I missed a door. After I killed them, I went and checked and there's a wall there. That stinks. I hope it's a glitch and not intentional.

I've just been playing this on my Geforce 3 Ti 500 and i must say i'm impressed with how my system is coping.

My system specs:

OS: WinXP Professional 5.1 Service Pack 2 (Build #2600) CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2400+ (Thoroughbred) , 2.00 GHz Video: Plug and Play Monitor on nVidia GeForce3 Ti 500 (1280x1024x32bpp 75Hz) Sound: SB Live! Audio [D400] Memory: Used: 240/768MB

Anyway, the gf3ti500 isn't supports as I believe a few shaders don't work - window glass is pretty hard to see and for some reason when metal bullets hit metal (armor or walls) the sparks are pink - but appart from that the game is running really nicely considering.

I've got it set to 800x600 with pretty much everything on minimum, with shadows turned off - and it plays really nicely.

When I used test performance I got 0% of it at under 25fps, 40% of it between 25-40fps and 60% of it over 40%. The game looks truely amazing, even for me on this crappy card.

I've only done the first level but it's a really fun, and slightly creapy game so far.

Will buy it along with a new system soon Wink

I get crackling sounds in this one Sad After a minute of play audio starts "popping" constantly - its nothing major but is alittle annoying.

Anyone got an ideas?

It has nothing to do with the game, its your on-board soundcard, junior.
