On that note, why don't you sell your air conditioner, plumbing, fridge, stove, and car? You aren't required to be a technician to own hardware. Leave off the 'retards' and just go enjoy the game.

Someone on another forum said that his Out of Memory errors disappeared when he turned off shadows. Just a thought.

You can DVD clone this with no need of this anti-blaxx shit. Simply burn it with RMPS like someone mentioned above but do NOT activate RMPS emulation within alcohol. That's it - a working clone.

Well, I tried it for a few hours now, too and think its a good game. But its not close to what I would call "game of the year" or something like that. Its a straight-forward-shooter with positive and negative points in my opinion:
+ excellent AI
+ adrenaline-pumping firefights
+ blood and gore
+ good weapons
- boring environments, repetitive and linear level design (so far... sometimes I think I can no longer bear even more crates and desks and tubes in boring rooms in any 3D shooter)
- engine with bad performance: in earlier times, when "Monolith" used their "Lithtech engine" in games like "No one lives forever " etc it was, compared to the other 3D engines (Quake 3/Unreal 2), by far the worst and slowest. this has not really changed.... compared with HL2, Riddick, FarCry and Doom3 this is in my opinion a weak performance for a "new-technology" game. on my machine (AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 6800GT, 1 gb ram) its the slowest of all the mentioned games (and it does not look better than the others, a bit "sterile" due to over-use of shaders).
for me the image runs fine with SR7Stop and Win2000. But it did not work with AntiBlaxx. Seems as if we start a new blacklisting ride when all these programs get detected in the next versions of Securom and Safedisk....
by the way: getting messed up with these "Hiding Virtual Drives" programs may be dangerous. I fucked up my system by trying to use SR7stop and AntiBlaxx at the same time - and suddenly I could no longer use daemon tools at all. I could not unmount the image, not mount a new one, I could not even uninstall or install daemon tools. restart, registry work...no success... I had to restore my OS partition with an image... so be careful when messing around with these programs

Yees I dont belive it, OFCOURSE! thanks man, WinB is using alot of resorces for sure. Looks realy cool with that Alienware Style DT, but naaaa, a good game is better hey.
Sorted no more lag and no more crashes after turning of WinB and object Dock...Me just primate D'oh brain...plain stupid should have thought of that.
Cheers.

I would just say RAM...get at least 1 gig minimum or 1.5-2 would be to recomend, will help you also for other games. Thats at least my experience.
Running all set to High (Computer and Graphics) tried Maximum but was just a tad to choppy.
P4 3Ghz
2 Gig Ram
NV 6800 U
SB 2
2 Raptors in Raid
Latest drivers etc etc.
Runs super smoth now after Monkey Brain (ME) switched off Windows Blinds.

Ok, guys, small problem I am having here, I wonder if anyone can help me ... installed game using Daemon mounted, SR7.Stop and I basically have no sound. Everything else works fine, except the sound is completely off, i tried messing with the settings but nothing, its completely out, anyone else have any similar issue or a possible solution?
Thanks!

As someone recently pointed out, there's a separate forum for technical problems.
