well, has been 2 months now since i quit drinking and taking any other shit.

And the result ? No more hang overs and feeling fresh yay.

Oh and enough money to buy 2 770's, a asus mx279 screen , a new g510s keyboard, new cloths, couple games and paying old bills.

I should have done that ages ago lol. that shit really is expensive (the drugs etc) and really not worth it.

Oh and getting all slim as well lol. Already lost more than 10kg since christmas Smile

2014 is going to be a great year yup yup.

Cheers Sin Smile I quit smoking weed ~Jan 3 to get more work done (It really slows me down even a day or 2 after I sober up). I still enjoy a glass of wine at night from time to time, can't get rid of all the vices Smile

Keep it up!

Welcome to the club, man!

I quit drinking 21st of January, lost 12kgs on a moderate diet, saved a shitload of money too although haven't bought anything yet.

p.s. And the mx279 is a great choice, totally love mine.

Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

jk, good on you! Smile

This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) the main reason for stopping alcohol is, that when i'm drunk, i want to get high .. so by cutting alcohol, i don't even want to do any drugs lol. And not having hangovers is really nice Smile

Also coming home at 7 am from work, sober, i can sleeep like 4 hours and wake up fresh and have a nice sunday.

I'll tell you tomorrow, when I'm in Cologne, why I started drinking.

Nice one Sin Smile

I knew you took it a little too far with some narcotics sometimes, but if alcohol is a catalyst for you then all the better that you quit that too!

NFOAC wrote:

That's like asking for the reason for people to drink coffee or tea, eat <insert something>, buy <insert something>.

You make it sound like drinking any alcohol at all requires a reason other than "tastes good".
