After playing little bit longer (about 2 hours in) I still think the game is fun. But it obviously have its problems - so far the AI is biggest issue for me... I wouldn't mind if they just ignore me when I sneak in front of them, I'd get over it... But I really hate when they get stuck in their path for example when I get detected and they keep on walking into a building...

What he said.

As for RPS review.. actually they were really skeptical about the game during its development but once they played and completed it..they did like it.

Just saying Very Happy

Still at the first mission (in the jewelier), but what really bothers me is that the AI only moves on their small scripted paths Sad
If they would at least have added more random paths the AI would chose from. Now it's just too easy to get by them. But sadly is common is most stealth games.

I'll play the game later tonight, but I still can't understand all that talk about the AI being too easy..when in Dishonored..( normal diff ) I thought the AI was a joke!!

It still got rave reviews, etc..!

I loved it, can't say I didn't..but the AI?...Well..too easy for someone who has Thiev-ing experience! Plus...I remember how when you took the whale oil tanks out of the security systems, the guards did NOTHING...! They just said "oh, the oil ran out sooner than expected" and they didn't even bother to check / change it.

Whereas in Thief, I saw this video where Garrett uses a water arrow on a candle or sth and the NPC lights the candle again 1 min later..! I loved that..!

0x080002C1
0x000000C0
0x00000044
0x000000C4
0x000000C5
0x000002C1

Surprisingly linear and dumbed down crap. Not that I expected differently from this studio, but still surprising.

What a shame.

I experience this quite a lot lately. It's because even when you try to keep your expectations low because of the chilling pre-release infos, you still somehow unconsciously hope that there's some sort of redeeming aspect hidden somewhere. It's needless to say that said aspect is very often a fictional one, kinda like a weird gaming faith.

Am I the only one that gets HORRIBLE stuttering? Even the benchmark drop to a slideshow, it's impossible to play normally regardless of preset/settings.

I know my PC is basically low-tier now (GF 460, i5 720 @ 2.66, 4 gigs RAM), but holy shit, BF4 runs better on High than this does on very low.

I have about the same as you Neon and it runs like shit for me too.

I've turned all the fancy shit off and just running it on default/normal settings.

Hoping they can improve the performance with patches or i'll be playing on lowest settings.
