1 i dunno how do to reduce the grain caused by ISO-400

Experiment with longer exposures and fstops (if the dog will stay still long enugh)
Use a slower film ISO 200 or 100.

buena for the pissing, just get those weewee pads ...they are like pas you lay out, and they are kinda warm so dogs like to go on them, they absorb all piss and dogs get used going to a designated place ... basically in the early training you have to restrain him to not be able to move by himself around to much, and when he does watch him closely. if he takes a piss, make sure he knows its wrong by voice and put his nose under it, but dont hit him especially when young. After that just take him outside and give him a praise when he goes outside ... basically it just takes some time ... nice dog btw!

this is mine (2.5 yrs old)
