My provider doesn't allow me to see these stats and since I don't use usenet I have no idea. But I could guess, something around 100GB (4-5 "AAA" games" per month and the rest are 720p movies/TV shows). It's the best that I can do with my 4Mbit really. Razz

I am currently downloading 51 GB worth of Seinfeld Very Happy So I'll be over 100 GB this month Very Happy Plus I'm still not used to watch yt in anything higher then 360p :S

I can set it to 1080 and it won't buffer, but I just have no urge to do so (old habits die hard)

My ISP doesn't do stats but it's probably around 200GB-400GB per month.

This month alone it's probably closer to 1TB would be my guess.
All House seasons in 720p. All those newest 1080p releases this month around ~30GB each since I watch them on my media player & TV otherwise I just grab the 10GB version if I watch on my computer.
Plus a lot of entire seasons of Anime at 1080p, that's around 10GB-50GB per anime.

Should be a lot less next month.

I need them checked obviously, yes, because what I'm seeing written is unbelievable lol.

So, lets get this right, a 16Gb movie will impress, and a 700Mb rip will not?

Well, I've heard it all now (or seen) lol. Time to get rid of my 50' LCD, as nothing under 16Gb movies will do for it.

So, off to get my eyes tested tomorrow, although @ 50, I should be just fine Wink, and at that age, I probably cant tell the difference anyway.

I'll also need, at least, a 64Gb USB stick now, so I may as well pick one of them up on the way, incase I want to transport a couple of movies to watch at a friends.

God, how times change.

If you use utorrent you can go to Help, Show Statistics to get a rough idea. My up/down usage pic is from the menu in my router.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

As for the film rips, I like the 2-3GB 720 rips for best picture quality to size ratio. I like to keep films I download so 10GB rips are just too big. I guess you guys are watching and then deleting films that you download?

I dont delete generally, but I have 7tb in my htpc (obviously in the end I have to clean up old shows and movies)

My usage is deceptive, run a newznab site and that gobbles b/w plus my parents live in Malta and they download all their crap on my pc then leech it from me.

That's interesting^^
My router doesn't seem to have that, but utorrent says 727GB under total downloaded (been using it since..I can't even remember, 2006-7 at least xD). Though that's only a small percentage of my warez stuff, I've always downloaded movies and games by using PU/BU links, and megaupload/rapidshare/mediafire back then Razz. But yeah, ~100GB per month should be a good approximation in my case, considering my low standards and all, and also Steam-related downloads.

edit:
I always shift-delete movies, but I keep games installed even after I finished them (the good ones of course). It saves me time since I know that I will replay them soon Laughing

You have a 50 feet LCD and you don't see the difference between 1080p and 360p? I can see why someone like you would turn to "god" in these hard times. Laughing

And who grabs movies these days, seriously Laughing Just tell your friend you are coming over in 15, and he'll download it on the spot.

I love my 50 yard LCD Smile, and my 700Mb rips stretch just fine over that distance, in fact, my up-scaler is much stronger than my boner these days, besides, it don't really matter, as I watch and delete afterwards anyway. Very Happy

My friends aren't so lucky, unfortunately, as most live in the highlands of Scotland, and as if that wasn't bad enough, they have little to no internet connection, for which I have to trade (by shagging sheep) to give them their viewing pleasure via USB stick Wink

So you see, size is important at times Wink

maybe ~100GB a month (300GB monthly cap) over usenet...mostly download 4-6gb 720p rips and 1.5gb hdtv rips...the odd 15gb 1080p movie for those that are worth it. don't really download that many games anymore (which seem to have suddenly become like ~30gb), mostly limited by HD space. Hulu and Netflix help keep the usenet downloading down but no idea how much I use on those (no cable tv anymore).
