I foking fell in love. manual gear, 3 pedals, superb wheel handling. Too bad it's so expensive Sad

What about razor hydra if not Oculus ? You'll probably need it when oculus arrives (?)

Ebook reader - I love this thing

Razer Hydra doesn't appear to be available in the UK Neutral

yeah really tempted by the wheel...

If I had that humongous amount of money (for my standards, that is xD), it would be a close battle between new video card, proper steering wheel, Oculus future version.. and Chintia Doll
Definitely considering a wheel... although I don't know if my poor desk could handle it...

i m pretty sure ixi meant the missing wheel in his trusty fiat that got broken into Cool Face

Very Happy I was wise enough to buy a Japanese car! Back in 1999. It's been nearly 15 years and it's still impeccable. It's got its fair share of bumpy roads like Van Damme, but who doesn't.

@Kaltern: I think you can find a G27 for ~$250 (Amazon), but the force feedback is a beast, so if you have one of those crystal glass tables or a plywood desk, it ain't recommended xD

Ok so I've had another thought... my CPU is currently a lowly AMD FX 6100.... it's fine, but I can't help wondering if I should look at upgrading that instead - thing is, I look at the higher 8 core AMD's and I wonder if I'm really going to see any real world improvement in using the PC for gaming and normal work.

Does anyone have any experiences they would be willing to share regarding that?

If it's doing it's job fine, then don't update.
Save it for something you really need and buy quality then. Not necessarily computer hardware, speaking in general. It could be anything.

I don't get why so many people feel the need to spend any money they have left. What's wrong with saving it for a while, and have a comfy buffer in your bank account?
