What's this like compared to Street Fighter 4? I've got quite a few GFWL games I could probably burn a key on this for if it's worth it Cool Face

It's more of a anime style fighter, with goofy characters, aerial fighting, has more of a MVC feel, then street fighter, if you want to compare capcom games.

EDIT: Main menu launcher allows to set basics like what controller to use, only x360 controllers are allowed but this might be bypassable in some way.

It detects DirectInput gamepads. It's a fighting game, they can't get away with only supporting XInput, that would render many arcade sticks useless. Though nowadays in most cases devs are just assholes and don't bother with anything else besides XInput.

EDIT: Nearly, some might be worse, this game has at least the ability to detect input device and will switch from showing X360 icons if a keyboard button is pressed at start, interesting way for it to initialize the control type.

It just switches between the gamepad and keyboard icons every 5 seconds (quite annoying) even when I have my gamepad unplugged so there's not any detecting going on.

Proper solution would be, that many other GFW games use, where if an input from a gamepad is detected then only icons for that are displayed and when you move the mouse or press any keyboard key it will switch over to another icon set.

Not that it's all too important since it already leaked but it's meant to be released officially this week.

@JackQ it's not even a case of porting it as the sequel, Continuum Shift, still runs on Taito Type X2 hardware and Windows XP Embedded like the other TTX2 titles. It's even been dumped already, so if you want to play BBCS on PC as it was meant to be you can download the data files and hacked launcher, it's a 1GB download and 2.7GB extract Smile

(ARCADE) BlazBlue: Continuum Shift [PC/ENG/JPN/2010] [1GB]

It's already listed in the ArcadePC Frontend launcher. Granted it's not the same as a fully featured, immensely configurable, specialised PC version but at least you can play it natively from end to end as the arcade version Smile

I like BlazBlue but they're all over the place with the platforms.
Calamity Trigger - PS360, got a PC release two years later in 2010. Steam 7-years-too-late tag lol
Continuum Shift - PS360 and not on PC, arcade version works though like Sabin said but no official port.
ChronoPhantasma - PS3/PSVita ...really? Come on! They're ditching one platform per sequel. The next one will just be a Vita game or what?

I don't follow the arcade hacking scene but can we expect Chronophantasma?
