So this seems like an Asgard story, yet they still go to earth. I guess if it was set only on Asgard, retarderps would not be emotionally attached, just like if an asteroid falls on some small town in Poland instead of New York.
gotta think of the audience... all the great movies in the world take place in america or are heavily influenced by america in some way... casablanca, citizen kane, the god father, gone with the wind... all take place in america or praise america.
You're not going to see a french movie based on france with french actors running around the eifel tower throwing baguettes around in any top 10 movie list ever.
