You see the backup battery there... It looks quite bad. The phone won't turn on at all. Do you think it's fucked?
If I remove the battery, will this have any impact on the internal stored images? That is the main thing I want to rescue, the phone itself can go to hell afai'mc.

you should be able to swap it with a new one within half an hour without borking the internal clock,shouldn`t impact the internal storage (if it`s not fried to begin with,some Galaxy models where DoA because of that battery)
however,i am not a doctor
can i have it if it turns back on?

Sorry, I can't risk having pictures of my di eh work related documents out there
Now that damn little battery doesn't even move a bit and I can't seem to find any information on it. Surprisingly if I search for internal backup battery galaxy s2, I only get to see posts and ads for batterypack

Thanks guys! Let's see if this works. BTW just cleaning and reassambling it didn't work. Some guys are talking about a small piece of electronic you can build yourself with resistors and shit, but I doubt that'll work either

I would post this on xda, someone will have pulled one of these fuckers apart and will be able to atleast give you some hints.
