I know there are more topics for this game but does anybody know what the best way is for using LAN to play online with another friend?
I tried Hamachi but that won't work with AoE3 has been told to me.
I heard Direct IP too. Does that work?
Any suggestions?

ps: sorry for such a n00b question!

doesnt work for me either, i can see the LAN game but it give me an error message "host cancelled the game" when i try to connect.

does nobody else have this problem?
