my girlfriend got in a state over some irrelevant dumb shit and kicked off (she had been drinking wine all day) and when I snapped and reacted back she started smashing the shit out of my stuff. i got mad and choked the shit outta her.

In your case i would just restrain her as best i could. I'd rather be physical towards her than letting her ruin my things. Hope it works out for you as you did what you did because she was destroying your property.

Gotta love this hippie way of thinking "Violence never solves anything" well, diplomacy doesn't always solve everything and you're left with standing idle or attack. Violence can solve a lot of shit, you just need to know when it's acceptable and when it's not.
And people need to grow out of this middle age chivalristic way of thinking towards women. I've seen guys been hit, kicked and spat on etc and they just stood there and took it. I'd smack her the fuck down if that happened as i'd hit any guy who'd try anything like that.

could you explain to me why i should let a woman destroy my property because she's in a bad mood? i had to restrain her, i was also angry so i used her throat. i'm not proud of what i did but i don't regret it either.
she came home 20 minutes ago and apologised, i'm on guard incase the police show up though.
