Release is 5 p.m. CET according to the Devs so FLT should be last early access version since boxed is released since yesterday in Germany and also last early access with a day 1 patch coming they probably used that for their release.

Sorry, but which is it then? Is FLT the last early access version, or does it include the day 1 patch?

I have the FLT release but don't want to start playing unless I know it's the final product... I'm extremely sensitive about that (always avoiding demos, early releases, betas etc.)

When starting a new game, can you choose between "Basic Mode" and "Expert Mode"?
If yes then it's the final version because that wasn't available in the early access.

There is no confirmation that this is not the retail version.

Edit: Ok FLT is the retail version, only missing the day1 patch, which is already included in the steam release. Should be out soon.

Edit2: ok this was really soon ^^

Unless I'm not mistaken, the day1 patch includes chapter 5,hence the size.
I remember them saying, around when chapter 4 was released to early access, that the last chapter would arrive at release date.

Indeed. The story seems bland at the moment, but the fights are good fun and much better than The Banner Saga.

You have to equip a belt, then put items you want to use (potions, bandages, weapon poisons) into the belt if you want to use them during battle.

That 1.1 update still doesn't seem to fix the inventory slots being mis-labled, at least not for me Sad

After playing for a bit I'd go so far as to say the leveling system is a bit too freeformed and not very well thought out. Having one giant pool of points that you have to distribute among 5 different main categories (each with a ton of sub-skills) is pretty fucking daunting - and with no way to re-spec the potential to gimp your party early on is all but guaranteed.

The fights are cool, but oftentimes rely on specific gimmicks that will force a re-play once you've figured them out.

Still, not a bad game.

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

It's the InternetZ. I get lazy I guess... after installing games from 30 floppies you can change forever.
I know it is additional or missing content but still....

Well it´s not really the games fault they incorporated the DSA 4 rules very well as far as i can see (there are some slight modifications to make them work better in the Game ofc) and its a great PnP system way better then the newer AD&D rules if you ask me .

BTW if you are not familiar with the 4th edition DSA rules (i doubt many ppl outside of Germany are Smile ) Felipepepe from RPGCodex made a very good Guide for the Game in the Steamcommunity: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=192905991

It's really good.
A little rough on the edges, but nonetheless very fun.
I believe that the developers will support it with frequent updates and patches.
Worth the money I think.
