Who says you need a PC version of a game to get fantastic mods? Because this is the PS3 version of Grand Theft Auto V, and it's so different it may as well be an all-new game.
Made by Bushigan, it requires a modded PS3 (because you need to move some files around), but once that's done you can sink Los Santos. And drive around the state in a submarine, whispering BioShock quotes the whole time.
Here's two videos showing the mod in action. If you qualify to run it, you're going to want to bring a wetsuit.
Yeah if realized it's good news. That article, however, is mostly assumptions and things that are "likely". It's unfortunately not more likely if they say it more so than if we speculate about it here on the boards.
Like this snippet...

We expect product announcements over the next year such as extending GTA V to other platforms (e.g., PC, next-gen consoles), the next Red Dead, etc., to help improve revenue and earnings visibility. In addition, the company has significant potential to grow digital/onnline revenues, which should help improve gross margins and add visibility to growth.”
I usually don't say this...but I am seriously starved for some DLC for this game. If they can match TBOGT and The lost and damned I am a happy camper.
Or release an improved version for the PS4...
They're working on a improved pc version..which will be capable to steadily maintain 30fps with occasional drops in the 25-26fps area on older machines (6+months old..)
Who would believe they would IMPROVE a PS4 or XBONE version? Be happy enough you get a port at all. They could've said they'll release a new GTA in a few years instead
This! Why R* even think people are that excited for their multiplayer dlc's? MP in V is complete mess. Tried it at release and month later...that was enough for me. -_-

Is this a sarcastic post or is this confirmed? Pc version that is.

Why would that be so impossible? I am talking something like Tomb Raider "next gen" rework that was indeed improved, mostly regarding graphics though. They can use same assets as used in make of old gen version and if we are lucky they sprinkle it with some extras. That would only be a bonus though.
I hope they do both port and DLC! Trying to be an optimist here!

Sarcastic post failure it is then. Anyway, Rockstar will have a tough time if they decide to port this one to "next-gen" consoles. Different architecture, different expectations. I doubt that Rockstar can deliver a 1080p/60fps experience by porting this one either on pc or PS4/Xbone. I will be more than happy if I'm proved wrong.
If they have a PC version porting it to the next gen architecture isn't as hard as many people believe it to be. It has a reason why they were constructed similarly to a computer, not a big next gen fan myself or even in access of one but I doubt it's hard.
