It's a bit weird to completely leave the events out though. Even if it's not something game changing (which it should be), it still adds something to the map.
I find it quite fun flying or riding around in the storm on Paracel, for example. The waves do change things for water combat, but even leaving that small gameplay factor out it's still just amusing in itself.

-Increased damage by 25% for the Stealth Jet 20mm cannons.

As that wasn't powerful enough....

And I suppose nothing has been improved with the 'usual' issues either.... ho hum.

The D flag area at Guilin seems to be fixed for me now Razz FPS used to drop by half over there, but not anymore.

It wasn't. Stealth jet was utterly useless; even with the 25mm cannon you can take out other jets, but anything else barely gets tickled. A perfect run against a chopper with the 20mm cannon didn't even take off 40% Smile

yeah the 20mm gun was utterly useless. the 25mm is great against other jets and the 30mm totally shreds choppers.

Besides netcode issues I didn't have many "or severe" bugs. Now friendly markers are all fugged up.

In another news, I'm starting to develop a severe addiction to ground vehicles in BF4. Okay Laughing
Seriously, I'm having a lot of fun with them...feels invincible men xD , as long as you don't get too cocky, because there's always the surprise buttsecs around the corner Very Happy

The game might not be flawless but I'm finally enjoying it at its fullest, with no crashes, stuttering, weird lag (well that still happens sometimes but it's bearable). I started gaining some confidence since I know most of the maps now, it's damn good. There, I said it D:

While you're enjoying it, the others at the receiving end of your "vehicle" not so much.

Reason why i gave up on conquest.

- Go in tank/anti infantry/boat = godmode, boring
- On foot? = get ripped, annoying

Tanks now are pretty easy to destroy really, especially if there's more than 1 engineer firing at it. At least until there's 2 engineers behind it doing repairs.

It's AA that's broken, jets are still mostly useless now. And scout choppers with 2 engineers fixing it are tougher than anything Laughing

But what happens when they nerf the AA? Yesterday on Zavod, me, Ixi and Onboard had a difficulty taking down one of these littlebirds + 2 engineers, until one of us got in the AA and shot them down. Seems to me there will be more unbalance when they nerf the AA, considering it's almost impossible to shoot down these choppas with 2 repair guys right now.

Personally Id like to see less AA sniping and better HMG on vehicles.

only thing im unhappy with gameplay wise is the huge focus on vehicles, other than that i think its a nice game (save the horrible hitdetection), performance wasnt much of a problem for me and i havent been crashing that much during gameplay, had the famous crash on mapchange tho

but the super focus on vehicles makes me rage, its like a damn tank sim at times. and going on foot just isnt an option, yesterday i was dodging bullets from 3 separate tanks and 2 choppers, jumping ,proning, hopping through buildings doing about everything i could to dodge but it only prolonged a certain death, and it reminded me whats wrong with bf4..

way too much vehicle spawns on every map and too fast. shoot down a littlebird only to have a new one up in 1 minute

i guess a "close quarters" map pack would fix the game for me

This is battlefield btw Laughing
also playing on foot is viable, when you find yourself surrounded by vehicles then you're doing something wrong, also fast respawn of vehicles is a server setting that can be avoided

Nerf minibirds too. At least repairing speed.
