Well, there you have it, we are simply too old for this shit
So what's next for Capcom....promote Resident Evil with.... fashion, in order to appeal to younger audience.
Your insults will do nothing to blunt the agonies of your demise.
They've already done it, it's called Resident Evil 5!
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
They should just finish main story and be done with it. Reboot it or turn it into mmo, fps or moba or whatever is most popular these days...
Last game of resident evil series i played was RE4 and emulated RE0 and rebirth.

>The secret of success
These games were a success after RE3 and Veronica?
Wow.
That's news to me. I guess at some point I need to subscribe to channel "Success of the trash" to be up to date.
I loved RE1-3 but I'm sorry to say I've never understood why people say RE4 is such a great game. To me it's an alright game, I enjoyed it but I don't see what's so great about it. And yes, I've played through it. Not trying to start anything here, it's just a confusing thing to me.
I think this is not the first time you clearly express my thoughts because I myself too lazy to move my brain "muscle" and write a proper sentence. I feel like I should start to pay you (haha, no) or something.
If their intention was to scare away the fanbase, they definitely got their mission done. Africa Ops 5, Operation Raccoon and QTE 6 were more than enough to make me raise the white flag.
At least the cowadoodi and gears generation is happy now, who cares about those old farts in their ~30s.
I never managed to finish Code Veronica. There is a part, when playing with Chris, where you have to go through quite a lot time, without being able to save and I always died there. The game is quite hard actually.
I also remember that there was a certain time, when playing with Claire, where you need to put most of your guns in a chest, before the second part of the game starts and you start playing with Chris. This way Chris gets to have more guns. If you don't do this, then you're screwed, as there just aren't enough guns and ammo for Chris and you get wasted almost immediately.
Btw is there currently a playable PC version? I'd really like to try to finish the game one last time, but frankly i don't wanna power up the old PS2 just for that.

I really liked CV but it has design issues like you say.
Another one: if you go to the plane fight with the Tyrant (which you have no way in knowing you will encounter a Tyrant there) without the grenade launcher and lots of ammo for it, there's absolutely no way you are going to progress in the game.

The plane fight is a little more complicated. It only takes one or two attacks to get your health all the way down due to how strong the Tyrant is. Also, don't let his usual slow walk fool you--he's very quick when he wants to be. The plane is quite a small area so the only real way to dodge him is to dole out some damage. The best thing to use against him is explosive arrows (around twenty of them). You'll know it's time to use the crate to push the Tyrant out of the plane when you see him stumbling and trailing blood on the ground.
Played this game way back on the Dreamcast. I made it to the Tyrant on the cargo plane and had to restart the game due to my poor item management skills. Good memories. I actually have it on my 360 (got it on sale) but haven't played it yet. My very first Resident Evil game was on the good ole Sega Saturn though.

Haha, that's exactly what happened to me as well.

I liked it a lot. Not as much as RE 1-REmake but like it much better than RE0.
This is the only Resident Evil I managed to really fuck up on towards the 2nd disk because I didn't bring an item with me to get a weapon. You also must conserve your ammo like a mad man in this game.
I really loved Tyrant boss on the cargo plane

RE4 is great because it was fresh and nobody had played anything quite like it at the time, the graphics are amazing even to this day, and then you have the gameplay...
it was the first third person game to create the "over the shoulder aiming" and allowed for you to aim with precision, at the time their was nothing like it, you could pop a shot in a zombies leg and watch him fall, just to run up and start knifing to conserve ammo, or go for the headshot for a quick take down. every blockbuster AAA game that came out after resident evil copied the over the shoulder aiming
also the game WAS survival horror, it was a little more action packed but its still a matter of survival when u blockade urself in a house and a dude with a chainsaw is trying to cut through the door, thats survival horror in my book.
and lastly the game was diverse, you were in so many different locations (farm, village, lake, castle etc) and each gun just felt awesome to shoot. I do like RE1 and 2 the best but re4 did a damn fine job of redefining on how we play third person shooters
sorry for the long rant i been up all night i go zzzzzzzzz now

I guess you're right, I only caught that fight on a stream, didn't pay much attention, but I remembered he was pushed out of the plane, not killed directly. I didn't get to that point yet myself.
But I also have no problem with games, in which you can screw yourself and have to restart or reload an earlier save. It used to be more common in shooters, when you'd start a new level with low health or ammo.

Same. But for me, Remake,Zero and CV are on that list too
people saying you cant beat tyrant without explosive weapons is 100% FALSE. and actually you can beat him just using the ridiculously overpowered knife in CV, if you go on youtube theyre is complete playthroughs using just the knife
