Yes, you have a point. But honestly a lot of popular shows do the same thing. Sometimes it works out and is entertaining, sometimes not. And i'm sure the thinking is "if it ain't broken don't fix it" or something along those lines.
All i know is that the particular twist of the show is usually not enough to carry it. The cast needs to be right for the roles and the writers need to be good etc.
The guy in the lead (the lost guy, josh holloway) sort of rubs me the wrong way for some reason. It worked for me on Lost since he was sort of an asshole on that show but i don't know how he's on a show where i'm supposed to like the guy. I'll give him and the show a chance though

Looks like the actioney version of Chuck, not sure if good thing or terribly bad
We would deserve better, though. A serious and deep futuristic show with cyber-drama for example, I'd like to watch something like that for once :>

The direction looks mediocre, so does the camera work etc. :/
Will stay with person of interest, which I recently started (and which became better and better) and have a lot of fun with

Because the season one eps that I saw were pretty much garbage.

What's mediocre? PoI gets more interesting as it goes (very focused on the main story instead of detached single-episode events). | Also POI gets quite some technical shit right

@Yondaime Thanks for the suggestions! I've only seen the two movies so far and I still don't know whether I liked them or not. I know, it's weird. xD
I enjoyed the style and music, but the rest didn't manage to have an impact on me.. maybe I simply didn't understand the subtle message behind them, or maybe it's just 'not my genre'. I'm definitely not a fan of anime/manga, though it's undeniable that such universe has a lot of potential. I'll check the TV series as well (the serious one) when I'm done clearing my backlog

So..anybody watched pilot?
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Too much shit to watch! And Justified is on today. Probably won't watch this until the weekend. This one really has low priority as it probably will be super bad.

Dat 'acting' in the OP's vid.
Nope not even going to give it a chance. Story seems to be rather shabby as well.

Justified also started last night. No time
Will have to prioritize now and only watch the best of the best

This is my current list
Almost Human
Hearth of Dixie
The Blacklist
Sleeping Hollow
Marvel Agents
Person of Interest
NCIS
NCIS LA
Justified
Modern Family
Law & Order: SVU
The Big Bang Theory
Parks And Recreation
Revolution
Hostages
I probably missed a few, hopefully not. If I could cut that list in half would be great.
I only watch some of them because I just want to see how they finish at the end of the season. I also skip the boring stuff on some of them except the good ones like Justified and The Blacklist. I watch entire thing. Otherwise I try to keep everything else under 20 minutes . I think I watched two episode of Hostages in under 40 minutes. Dialogue is so bad on this, I HAD to skip some parts because it was just unwatchable.
It's like an addiction AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
