It's soooo bad. Lot of houses without power. Was cabbing back from christmas shopping last night, and a whole street filled with rich houses, and rich people was completely black. Really sad to look at, but so awesome at the same time. The 10%s without power  Feels GOOD MEN.
And Im cozy up in my hoose \o/
First night almost froze to death.
Got power back. \o/
Took some snaps with iphone... while not working because no power at work.... WOOOOOO.

There are much worse disasters in the world. But when it happens to become a first world problem it then becomes a storm of the century. Much like many other storms that have happened this year and the year before that. But, the best part of this is that it brings certain communities together.
It's awesome. It also sucks. There are homes without power. People without heat, water, food. And it may be so after the 25th. But if you're a manchild, like me, you're awe-struck by the beauty of what happened. It looks like another world out there. Everything has a layer of ice on it. Frozen tomato plants. Frozen cherry trees. Frozen apple trees. Grass. Regular trees. Christmas trees. Cars. It's just gorgeous. And if you went out on the first night of the storm, and did not slip on the ice covered streets, you would see what a world would look like in the first days of an ice age. Desolate. Abandoned. Still. It's poetic. And then it hits you... people are suffering right out. The rich, the poor, the homeless, the needy, the greedy... they're all in the same boat. For three hours when the city was black, when suburban areas were covered in darkness... every living soul was equal. Everyone had the same problem.
So good.
Snapped some pictures with my iphone. Posted them on facebook\instagram. Had a blast. Bought Christmas presents with money i didn't have... and now I ready myself for a meal of epic proportions... \o/

I can confirm that while it's sad for people without power and in the cold...I was lucky to have both power and internet the whole time through.
I absolutely loved the frozen trees tho.
