a nice sale on state of decay would be appreciated though game looks fun, and people have been saying as much.
id LOVE a solid discount on audiosurf 2 so i could pick that up, but i think im dreaming on that one

Game tottaly worth it. Haven't played any mp, but SP alone is worh the money.

I didn't like it at all.
For one thing all the characters are from any random american teen movie with college kids and their siblings; they have slightly more personality than cardboard boxes, only slightly so.
The gun mechanics aren't that satisfying in that you don't get a sense that you hit the enemies - theres no blood and enemies won't get wounded or have wounds.
Theres no sense of progression, you just run around doing the same thing over and over again, liberate camps and climb towers. And it doesn't really matter.
All enemies are copy paste versions of eachother and have even less personality than the primary npc's.
If you like brazillian rap then you're really in for a treat with the soundtrack. But if you don't like me, then it's shit, apart from that one track that plays as you torch a ganja field.
It's technically an open world game, but it's an open world with no real choices that matter and you only have a linear path of progression technically speaking.
The water shaders and generally the graphics that don't relate to combat are great, so it's got that going for it which is nice.
tl;dr get blood dragon instead it's awesome. |

Well there is no more THQ so more likely no. I remember some company took THQ members or something and they said no Darkaiders 3 is planned ATM.

You are talking about Crytek who hired much of the original team that made the game but said they won't buy the IP as well, because they don't want to make any Darksiders games.
