For textures, there isn't, but there is a detailed guide @ Nexus which will point you to the shitload of packages needed and a fairly automated installer that arguably result in the best possible textures for nearly everything in the game.

Didn't the maker of that compilation stop updating it some time ago, making it outdated?

Yes, though other people @ Nexus made further updates after he left. And In the end it doesn't really matter, as it's still a good starting point as you can update some of the packages individually without breaking anything (except for maybe Kurt's flora and SMIM), as my own experience playing all the DLC 2-3 months ago served to prove Smile

Anyway, bottomline is there's no all-in-one installer and I don't think it there will ever be Razz

It seems a different user has picked up the gauntlet, he's working on TPC (he even made a sexy GUI!). I'll wait untill it matures.

Yeah, despite all the mods available, Skyrim still has that empty feeling melee combat and general movement. There's not much that can be done with dragons, either. People have modified the AI and moveset, but the animations (flying, especially) still look laughably bad.

They had better use an actual new engine with the next Fallout and/or Elder Scrolls.

That is actually in the game. It's a finisher move that triggers according to your critical hit chance or something Razz But yeah, combat is one of the weakest points in this game.

u not playing legendary difficulty i assume ? But ye i see no point playing with higher hitpoint pool enemies when combat is this dull.

ill give the game a final try as a mage but man i wouldnt know how they can fix it. they need to look at some console games to find out a good epic cpmbat flow, batman arkham city combined with monster hunter

And slow down levelling to, say, 30% of the vanilla values using the uncapper.

You'll be shitting bricks, you'll see... ofc, if you're mid-to-high level already, then no point.

There are many ways to make the combat harder besides the 'official' difficulty setting; personally I'm using SkyRe with the Deadly Combat module and Deadly Dragons (+ the Deadly creatures/animals/non-humans ->100% customizable to your liking) and the results is actually pretty good. Smile

The combat itself is still generic, but at least you need to be careful, you need to use potions and a single well placed arrow (not in the knee) can ghost you if you don't wear some proper armor. (I'm still trying to find the best compromise for the magical business, though)

Haha, I am now.. very. But the first time that I installed those mods I immediately headed to the menu and changed all the key values to +300%, only to be insta-killed a couple of minutes later by a crab. Had to tone 'em down a little bit Razz Laughing

Laughing That mod coupled with the deadly creatures module is like the ultimate horror experience. Not even Amnesia can be that scary.

Someone should try to create the chav version with the crabs shouting ''Ay check out da fucking goff, trash im! oi I'll spark ya'out cold!" That would be brutal xD
