that's the pretty whole point in this new drm, they are probably aiming to cripple the steam-trading of gift games for keys/other games.

meh i hope it happens, because then we could all finally give up on steam and go back to fucking pirating... and who knows, maybe it'll wake valve up a bit and make them go into bat for us FOR ONCE by starting to push back against publishers once they see their profits dipping...

Umm, more like you cannot activate the game outside the purchased region.

What does it mean? Will they be removed after Jan 03?

Worth to check out other sites too. During the last sale there were some sales beating the ones on Steam. Also if your in the EU, extra worth to check humble store, since their price is in $. Currently they have Natural Selection 2 for 2,49$.

Had some fun yesterday, selling my globe doubles for 50+ eurocents and then buy cheap card sets to get more globes. Got some more badges now  Too bad prices of globes went down and prices of cards went up

Well one thing that I can tell you is that Amazon already listed all their upcoming deals for these holidays, and with the sole exception of A:CM which I already got for 2 bucks, there's nothing that interests me. So that's one less digital store to worry about.

I personally hate all the digital services and kind of wish Steam failed as I like to own physical disks with boxes, manuals, etc. but I guess sooner rather then later all physical media will be a thing of the pass and everything will be digital only be it videogames, movies, etc.

I wish they would allow you to buy the 'flash sales' games if you miss them the same way they do with the so called big releases. Anyway, so far I have not seen anything I fancy. Toying with the idea of buying Eador: Masters of the Broken World.
