Ok so i went to one of my usual clubs tonight but with the big difference that i wasnt drunk. I had a few beers, some wine and a couple of shots. I was on my way to getting slushed but then Sweden goes and loses to Croatia in the soccer world cup qualifying games and that got me in a very boring non-drinking-mood.
Anyways so i went to the club and first of all, damn! You really see everything with different eyes. I've been going to that club for about 4 years but never been there this sober. You notice alot about how the place actually look and not just your immediate surroundings.
And then comes the people. The big things i noticed was how embarassed i felt for alot of them - the guys who cant dance, some girls who tried to hit on me (im not trying to sound cool im just that stunning  ), the ones being too drunk for their own good and so on.
Now i realize i am being a bit hypocrit because if i would have been drunk i would have danced like an idiot, spilled some of my drinks on the floor and gone home with the first girl who looked at me funny.
So my question/debate-thing is: What do you think about going out sober?

Meh, sober is good when ur working or doing important shit...but when im chillin and relaxing, doing whatever, I like blazing, doing some hot knives with hash...I dunno, its relaxing and chillin to me

I might clarify that what i meant with "going out" was going to a party/going clubbing.

I can sit in front of my computer, drunk, sober or high out of my mind on various drugs and be happy. Or I can go out in all three of those states. I have no preference.

I can drink and drink until I'm blind
But gin, jesus fucking christ, for me it starts off with a vomit aftertaste!
I loves going placed when I'm drunk.
I went to school sometimes 'somewhat' drunk.
And I went to the movies drunk (not cool though)
I also like takin' a walk through stafford, a park near my trashcan apartment, when I’m drunk and bored.
I do about anything that can come up when I'm drunk. I don't like sitting there doing nothing. Cause it just feels like shit.
I'm not into clubs(never chilled with the cool club going crowd) and I’m not much of a party person. (I’m usually the guy standin’ in the corner by the window wishin’ he was outside)
But going drunk into social events is a no-no.
I don't drink on top of my drunkenness.
Kinda... fucks up my senses, y'know?

Here is a guy who has never woken up in a puddle of his own vomit next to something the species of which he could not completely idnetify... then thought "sweet" and did the same thing the next day. |

In terms of vodka...Silent Sam is the best brand i'd say...and obviously its the Cpt. Spiced for Rum - or some Jamaican Rum (Clear Appleton's one, not that gold shit) - 180 overproof, puts lots of hair on ur ass  |

well i was drunk yesterday and went to a gayclub.
oboy i wish i was double drunk then i was. the gaysceene was depresive to say the least. fucking crappy music as well. all perjudices came true. schlagermusic and teddyboys yuck. never again.
alcohol rocks. helped me out many times. its a great boost for the self confidence and also it tastes good.

i always have a few drinks when i go out... HOWEVVER..
The other night i was sober... but i was running on pure adrenalline... i had a few drinks to calm the nerves.. then once i got playing... you got a few hundred people dancing @ ya... and people peaking out.. it dont matter if your pissed or sober.. you just run on pure adrenalline... its a weird feeling.. you feel like your half pissed and half on E.

was pissed off my face.. we went in there .. "hmmm there is a guy sitting on another guys lap.. oh well good for them" .. then "hmm there are like 10 guys sitting on 10 other guys laps.. oh fuck"

well im not usually going and im not planing to go again either. everybody was so stereotypical which imo was really sad.
i met some cool dudes that were going there, when i was on my way home from the pub, so i joined them.

Well its ok I think to go out sober, but most ppl(in my exp) tend to not let them cut loose as much, it is easy to spot the ones not drinking on the dancefloor(if they ever get out there)
But ofcourse its up to the indivduel to decide what is funny and what is not. |

Most Djs I know are pure chem heads and drop cid and shit when they put on a show - usually a lil 200 person underground rave type of thing...but that was like 8 or 9 years ago...fuck, im gettin old... |

I'm a lot more sociable when I'm drunk, although sociable can turn into sociopath very quickly if someone fucks with me. I'm russian, and like the stereotype I'm very good at holding my liquor. I can have a few 40s with friends and be in a much better condition than them, though when I'm chillin I don't give a fuck what I act like, so my friends tend to think I'm a lot more drunk than them. True story: Last summer me and my friends (in Ukraine, the age bars will let you drink there is like 3,) went to a bar. Obviously, they intended to get me drunk off my ass. So we're drinking screwdrivers en masse (we all had like 6 or 7 each). I wasn't aware that my friends were ordering ~ twice as much vodka in mine than theirs. By the end, they were all hammered and fucking around, I was pretty much having fun with them. All of a sudden, a cop rolls up and starts asking us what are we doing out this late. I managed to shut my friends up and talk the cop down. He ended up wishing us a good night and driving away. Usually, if you're on the street hammered there, they'll toss you into a jail cell for the night to sober up to prevent fights etc. I was able to hold a normal conversation with him and convince him that me and my friends only had a shot of vodka each (I was gonna say beer, but my breath smelled like the top of an absolut bottle.)
As for my preference, 3 people, 2 bottles of vodka, and a dub of good haze would constitute the best time I could possibly have at home. Pretty much every other night me and some buds around my block get together and have a bottle or 2 of colt 45 and sometimes some dro... not much to brag about, but we're not really into the club scene since a few of us aren't 21 and the others don't want to leave them out of the fun.

Yeah, i wasnt pissed at croatia or anything, you were the better team for sure. The goal was, well, stupid. But good thing is that Holland beat the Czeck Republic so sweden is theoretically already in the World Cup. Even if we lose the final game and the czecks win they'd have to catch up 10 goals which aint gonna happen.
As for the alcohol-discussion. Jack Daniels is nice and all but some real whiskey is the shit. I personally like Glenfiddich or The Balvenie. I usually only drink that when i know i aint going clubbing though, like having a pokernight or so. Otherwise it's vodka-drinks and Sambuca-shots.
