I actually have to agree with Pumpy, I much prefer the stock Sony 4.1.2 on my Ion compared to Cyanogen 10. The cyanogen ROM was markedly slower in UI interactions, phone boot up and shutdown speeds and especially with the camera, it just felt more sluggish. I didn't notice any tangible improvement whatsoever and the new camera app it installed was downright terrible, going from 1-1.5s opening to 9-10s, not to mention the quality was locked to 8mp as opposed to 12.

Thanks guys for the answers
I think I'll stick to the stock one, for now at least. I've been using it for the last couple of days while I was away and I must say I'm quite impressed. I couldn't notice any problems, everything is super-fast and the default apps seem adequate enough so it's all good.
I've only replaced the video-related one, installing MX Player Pro that fully supports mkv's and DTS with the plug-in. I really like the phone so far^^ (but then again, I'm easily pleased xD)
