Nice! Watch out for excessive backlight bleeding. A friend of mine went through 3 of these and each time bleeding was worse. He decideded to return it all together and just get refund.

Are you sure its the U2711 model? U2713HM model seems to have shitloads of backlight bleed problems etc.. It also uses worse panel than U2711. Have had U2711 over a year now, not a single problem, panel itself is perfect (no backlight bleed or anything Razz). Anyway gz Ankh!

I bought it from my mate who just got the 30" version of it. He had only been using this for 4 months. I got it for 2000SKr.

I paid for mine 679€ 1 year ago, one of the best purchases i have ever made. Dont have any plans to replace it anytime soon. Next upgrade will be 4K monitor when they have better panels and you can get them with around 1000€ (less would good, but that is max i will pay for monitor). Currently their price is just ridiculous.

Ive heard that there are lots of stuff with 4K monitors that can be anoying. Not the actual resolution, but windows (and programs) have a hard time keeping track of positions in that high res.

The monitor will be indeed my next purchase, I'm still on an oldass LCD Sammy from years ago that looks decent only if you keep your head completely still Very Happy Laughing
