I've played every AC game, this is the first time I feel like I'm missing stuff. Characters come and go out of nowhere and the ending is just ridiculous (since there was zero build up). My opinion of course.

Could be due to how the story is paced in this one, years pass and a whole slew of minor and major characters are introduced and then used briefly only to never be seen again or be killed in some manner.
(Several characters are also presented as having history with Edward but it doesn't go into much detail on how that came to be although small bits of info is given now and again but it's not easy keeping track of it all.)

The story between Edward and Catherine is also kept rather vague and mostly told via flashbacks or touched upon briefly during certain missions, usually as dialogue between Kenway and his companions.

The PC version of Freedom Cry has been delayed for a few days, X360/XOne version was released earlier today and the PS3/PS4 version should be out tomorrow. Smile

Disable vsync ingame and use something like radeonpro to force it. If you have MSAA or soft shadows enabled, disable them.

Freedom's Cry will not be available on PC today. Laughing

It's all bullshit talk though, in reality some people were able to download some part of the data and as it turns out a lot of people's saves were permanently deleted Laughing Good going Ubi.

They're probably working on fixing that, hence the delay.

More than ? I think 15 is max. To get to 15 you must buy slots with gemstones. You can get gemstones from trading missions and from ships, which you can add to fleet or salvage in your fteet menu after succesful boarding teh ship.

This must be it. I have to progress into story. Thanks JBeckman!

Edit:
Is it possible to take Legendary Ships into the fleet? The army of those will be quite powerfull

Unfortunately you can't even board the legendary ships, there's plenty of level 60 men-o-war ships though once you have upgraded the Jackdaw enough to withstand their attacks. Smile
(Since they are usually surrounded by other mid level ships, it gets rather hectic trying to capture one and then you have to contend with the three random rules for boarding such as killing X amount of crew, killing the captain, killing riflemen or destroying powder barrels or severing the ship flag, ha ha.)

Well best ship you can add to the fleet, when taking cargo space into account, are ones chasing you with max wanted level (4). Brig level 25 got 35 cargo and man'o'war 60lvl with 90 cargo space. It is good to have a least 3 brigs in your fleet IMO to win fast battles when you clear routes.
And it is good to improve fleets asap becouse it is VERY good source of gold.

It was El Impoluto but I just sent it to the bottom of the sea. Its VERY tough battle. All other ships combined are not that challenging as this one.

Same, the trick was with the 2 man of wars is that you need to get both ships to like 25% health before finishing one of them off, since the other one kinda goes in to rage mode Razz
El Impoluto was easy when you have the upgraded ram, got it on first try.
