This bug is so gigantic that its public discovery was inevitable I think. It was a matter of time really..silly Dice :/
And I thought the worst had passed. Hopefully the next patch will fix it so we can start the treasure hunt for the next huge brand new bug. It's a game inside the game!
:facep--- ah what's the point, I already paid for it, didn't I?!
You had the chance to dodge this sticky mess and yet you couldn't resist, I am disappoint!
Seriously though, I wonder when we'll receive the mail with written: "Thanks for participating in the beta test". Probably one day before BF5's release date
I don't get why people care so much about these "bugs". Unless you're obsessed with playing to win, instead of playing for fun. No offense but this game isn't competitive, you boot it up, you shoot a few people and that's it. Big deal some mongo is exploiting a bug to cap flags...
Not saying it doesn't need fixing, don't get me wrong, but... you're acting like you can't play the game because of it.

Can someone explain why his crosshair is barely moving while autofiring? Heck even if i stutter-fire my crosshair with same attachments as him goes crazy all over the place.
Am i missing something?

First of, it is a great game and people who actually play it, have a lot of fun with it (hell i do and i know a lot of the humpers here do as well).
But in the same time, it allows people (even those who didn't even bought it, go figure) to bitch and moan about it constantly and of how big of a fail it is etc. etc.
It's like ... something for everyone ! How can this not be game of the year ?
To be fair, a lot of the stuff that's wrong with this game is entirely the QA's fault. Be it for not testing or reporting it in the first place (see the SOFLAM bug) or plain EA idiocy (the silencer/launcher bug in the early days). And QA is handled mostly in Bucharest so...yeah. Not saying people there are stupid, working conditions are and motivation is always low, thus resulting in this buttfuck of a game release.

since i've bought it..i only played as an engineer. is it good//bad? shouldi switch classes?
how do you guys play?
Just do what you have fun with :-)
Personally I switch classes during a match depending on the situation.
If I see a tank on the map next to my squadmate or point I'm about to defend or attack I'll go engineer.
If I spawn on a squadmate behind enemy lines I'll probably go assault and try to keep us alive.
Snipers on that building annoying the shit outta me? I'll switch to recon and snipe them.
Support I play the least, usually just go that when I'm supporting in a chokepoint on the map where a lot of people are firing all the time and a lot of ammo is useful.
Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.

The best way to play is to be whatever the team needs you to be. In general, it works best when the classes complement each other for devastating effect, so versatility is your best friend.
With that said, if you are playing Conquest or Obliteration with enough vehicles on the map, engineer is the most useful class.
Up until about rank 60 I grinded all weapons/class unlocks. Now, that I tried most of it, I chose a few that I want to unlock attachments for to suit all playstyles - like recon close/mid range sniper rifle, long range, as so on. So now I'm really just working on attachments. After that it's done, it's hard to say, I'd like to say I'll play normally whatever I want at that time, but knowing myself, I most likely end up grinding some more to unlock attachments for all my weapons
With that said, I really hate unlocks. I just can't ignore it and I want to unlock everything. I tried to train myself to ignore it and just play the way I wanted since BFBC2, but I always end up grinding to unlock everything, even though I hate doing it. I miss good old BF1942 or CoD1/2 and other games where you had everything unlocked. I just chose a weapon I wanted and played with it. I must say I'd probably have more fun if it was this way in BF4 also...But oh well progression, unlocks and everything is popular, because people wouldn't have reason to play it otherwise ( ) so I can't see that changing anytime soon.
