It has so many aspects identical to other fantasy mmo's right now, codex books, the whole ui selection areas and what they contain are very sim to swtor.
The Gfx for what the game is and about are all good/smooth etc cant complain about that.
It is extreme in the cutesy cutesy department and feels like I am playing a game after taking a few hits of LSD. Apart from that seems run of the mill..
Seriously screw this. I ain't no monkey tester when i don't get anything out of it. In this case, some solid gametime. If they wan't me to seriously test for them, they can pay me for it.
Played it a bit, game is kinda meh to be honest. Combat is slightly interesting at first but gets old quickly. Otherwise it seems like any other random MMO, except maybe in the higher quality range as should be expected considering the price.
I'm playing a human engineer. Pretty cool game, although the quests are a bit confusing and there are so many of them. I'm kind of lost too as there is a lot of stuff like crafting and your path and it all seems to get thrown together. Once they get a better map and mini map and do some work on tutorials and such, it will help a lot.
The graphics I really like. The game looks good overall. Kind of WoW'ish, but the animations are pretty good and you can see that a lot of work has gone in to it. There is a memory leak that kills the game after a certain period of time and you have to restart the game, but I'm sure that will get fixed.
The combat is actually pretty fun. I like the double jump and dodge abilities. It's definitely skill based and true real time combat. You can defeat stuff higher than you if you dodge well. It's a bit easy right now (up to lvl 10), but may get harder. There is a lot of elevated areas that you can reach and it feels quite a lot like guild wars in many ways.
I don't have a house yet, gotta be lvl 15 I think before you get it. My friend has one, but I haven't seen it yet. You get a hoverboard at lvl 10 in the beta, but don't get it till 25 retail. It's very cool.
I'll report back with more later. But first impressions are that it's a pretty fun game and definitely better than WoW for me. Will see how it goes as I play it more. They still have quite a bit of work to do on the game, but it's pretty polished as far as having a lot of content. They made the UI completely customizable too, so expect tons of UI's and mod and such for it.

If you have a full beta key and not one for just the stress test. servers are indeed offline, server schedule is Tuesday through Saturday
when i look on my account it says beta not stres test or stres test beta so i dont now;ques i have to find out?
try to log on forums, if you can see forums fully you have real beta, if you cant, you dont as access to forums was taken away for stress testers ( you can find forums link on account page where you see your wildstar beta )

It's a pretty shit move by NCSoft and Carbine by removing beta forum access after stress test is over.
They are just abusing their fanbase and then dumping them after the event is over. After the stress test is over they should at least get to keep their beta access to thank them for their time and patience.
But nope they are just removed from the beta forums and ordered back in line again for the next stress test.
wow just got invite into real beta + 2 friend keys O_O, now all i need is new pc considering how poorly stress test ran :\ , Toxikbrain if you want a key let me know
